The food was good and reasonable, but the service was awful. We went on a cold rainy day. The temperature inside of the restaurant was so low, we were not able to sit comfortably. One of us went to check on their thermostat. The heater was off and nobody knew how to turn it on. Communication was not easy at all. Our group is very good savvy and love to try different ethnicities foods, but it was not an experience that we want to have again.

First of all..I recommend to call before hand to ask if it's buffet night, if it is u should expect to wait in line outside the restaurant till they tell you to come in, I find it a bit weird but it is what it is..the guy at the reception outside wasn't really nice with couple of customers..the food was nice (small portions but good) we paid $36 each.

This Muslim establishment is robbing people even during the holy month on Ramadan! They charge 40$ for Iftaar buffet with no tray refills while the food served were dull with no flavor. To make matters worse, they aim to provide ZERO customer service and pretend to not understand English. Please do not make the same mistake like we did. There’s plenty of good halal/indian/pakistani/middle eastern options in Orange County. I simply do not understand what the hype is about this place? Why do people even bother to stand in long lines to succumb to such a horrible dining experience? I have only heard good things about Yemenis in my life like how they are known for their hospitality but sad to say that this experience has left a lingering distaste in my mouth. Shame on you ?

Here is thing, it is not easy to find a place that offers good food and good service at the same time, specially small businesses. Maybe you can find both of these in a big company restaurant because they have way higher standards and training, but in a small business it is hard find both at the same time.I have been in this restaurant for a lot of times since it opened few years ago and the last time I went there was about 2 months ago.I can say that the food quality is very consistent, there is no difference when they first open compared to now. However I started to notice the service is getting worse time after time. The restaurant is always busy because the food is good, but I’ll warn you, don’t go there and expect 5 star service, you will still pay a lot of money but it is not for the service. There are 3 kinds of turn over in these small restaurants, the first kind and the rarest one is holding good food and service no matter what even after they build a good customer baseThe 2nd kind is the one after building a good customer base the food quality go downAnd the 3rd kind is when the service quality go down and this restaurant is the 3rd kind. When it first opened it was very comfortable place to go get food at for some reason, one of them is not over loading the restaurant and the staff buy placing way more tables and make the restaurant very crowded, 2 feet between tables. Literally I can hear the conversation the next table is having with all the details. The other thing is the price increase, i know inflation is everywhere and everything is more expensive now but come on increase the prices from $23 to $33 for Mindy? That is 30% increase, inflation is 7% by the way. Also, there is this charge that is unfair at all, if the party is 4 people or more than there is 15% service charge, and then another 15% to 20% tip. So literally if the party is 4 or more then the tip “15% service charge” is mandatory and then if I don’t leave another 20% tip I will get looked down atImagine You go to a restaurant and spend $100 then you will get slapped with $15 mandatory service charges and then another $20 tip and you end up paying $135This is not the only middle eastern restaurant that charges the service fees but one of themThe restaurant have very specific group of people that they serve, the kind that don’t care about the service, don’t care if the restaurant is over filled with people and over crowded with no privacy at all. I know restaurants is not about privacy but when it feels like I literally seating on the same table at other customers because the tables are very close to each other then that is not good

40 minutes after ordering our food , the server came back and told us they run out of meat. The restaurant was not busy and they took a while to take our order . Never again , they are even overpriced for average

I rarely post any negative reviews, and I am so against it because I know it might hurt the business and their owners unless you have a legit and valid reason(s). This place is a hit and miss when it comes to their food quality! Their staff and service is average. During Ramadan, they have an "open buffet", but they really don't! The food quantity will not serve more than 20-30 people. So if it happens to go 10 minutes after sunset(when Muslims can break their fast) then you won't be able to eat their main dishes! Not to mention you can't serve yourself, their staff will put a scoop of rice and very small portion of the meat(chicken or lamb), if you ask them to put more, they will give you a dirty look and make u feel guilty about it! I went there twice during this month of Ramadan and every time was the same way. Avoid going there during Ramadan, however if you decide to go before or after Ramadan then you should be fine.

Bad everything from the front door to the service, so expensive for nothing. Soda is $3.99 no ice water.

This is ridiculous I came here just for my friends to vibe. They wanted to do the iftar buffet & mind you I don't eat "outside food" at all, so "Talib" said I have to pay to get in to even " sit down" & also wanted to lie about his name & the owner name aka "Sam" so I found out. Like why lie about both names ?? I have never been to a restaurant that charges you to even sit down this is crazy. The owner needs to get it together and talk to his employees. I get it y'all stressed but you don't charge people to sit down if they don't want to eat. Insane. But Omar was really helpful
