This place is severely understaffed. The food is over salted, or has no flavor at all or undercooked.

We had so much fun. The food and atmosphere was amazing. Our waiter was fun and very helpful with helping us choose our fod options. The Cajun Benedict was so good. And the fried green tomatoes are a must order! We even ordered them to-go. ?Will definitely be back here!

I should know better. Eating southern food outside the South is always a gamble. A place that really leans in on the Cajun/bayou theme should be able to do decent biscuits and well seasoned food, but this ain't Copeland's. Ingredients sound great on the menu but the seasoning is very mild and the biscuits are dry. I had Tom's scramble which is biscuits and gravy with hash browns and eggs. Biscuits were pretty dry and they didn't provide enough gravy to compensate. All in all white people who don't like seasoning will probably love this place but if you're looking for a taste of home keep looking.

Family and I stopped for breakfast after a weekend in Anaheim. The food was really bad. Very bland and just not good. I ordered a ribeye and eggs. Steak was old and tasted horrendous. Sent it back after the 1st bite. Waiter did his best, but told us their food wasn't good lol. Settled for french toast and they didnt charge us. Everyone in my party had a bad meal. 1st and last time for us.

Their food has zero seasoning. I ordered a steak, no seasoning not even salt or pepper. The potatoes on the plate were only seasoned by the vegetables there but again no salt pepper or anything else. The eggs, I asked for a soft scramble, they came out with brown marks and we're in fact overcooked and hard. The biscuit was soft to the touch not crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside like a good biscuit should be. No flavor on the biscuit, at least not buttermilk which is what I was expecting. I would not eat here ever again. The waiter must have known how bad the food was as he never even asked me what I thought about the food. My spouse had the waffle and chicken plate. The waffle did not have buttermilk either. One thing I will say about the waffle was that it was extremely airy and cut easily like it was made from a thin tempura batter but no real flavor to go on about and without butter syrup it would have been inedible. The chicken was dry and had zero flavor. They did not even brine the chicken which is why it was so dry. No salt or seasoning in the chicken batter either. I guess this was kinda like an expensive Luby's ?. It felt like a complete waste of money IMHO.

Slow service but they were busy. And they don't understand what southern fried cooking is.

I got the riverboat omelette with red potatoes and a huckleberry muffin. The omelette was delicious and the Cajun chili on top was a great addition. The red potatoes were nothing special whatsoever and a bit disappointing. The huckleberry muffin was definitely good but would have liked more berries in it but it is served warm. Definitely a great choice if you are in the area and/or going to Disneyland.
