My crew and I meant to go to the Anaheim Packing House, but it was way crowded and loud, you could smell the Covids in the air! Jav's BBQ was right across the street in a much quieter building and so conveniently connected to Unsung Brewing and Pali Wine. I opted $22 for a two meat plate while my friends got sandwiches...I was the smart one here! -Tri Tip...tender, beefy, juicy slices of Tri tip, I think about a nice enough 4-5oz portion...yum! -Pulled Pork...not sure what happened here, maybe it was the end of the day? But I got HUGE portion of pulled pork...must have been 8-10oz worth! Soft, succulent, mouth water pork chunks that pair perfectly with Jav's BBQ sauce. -Mac N Cheese...good! I just wish the portion was bigger, but the pork made up for that. -Cole slaw...sweet, non mayo kind that I prefer. 4.5/5 stars...rounds up to a 5 Star. I would've like a bread roll or corn bread, and maybe the sides could've been a bit larger. But everything was good otherwise!

I had brisket and pulled pork. The meat was severely underseasoned. The smoke flavour was there, but adding the salt packet from their cutlery pack did not do much to elevate the flavour. The mac and cheese was okay, brussel sprouts were quite good. I'm no BBQ connoisseur, but even to my inexperienced palate this place has much to be desired. I wonder if anyone tasted the food before it got sent out at all.

Jav's food is amazing! I mean, everything on the menu is great. My favorite is getting a brisk sandwich and putting a side of Mac and cheese ON the sandwich. I was lucky enough to have them cook up some catering for an event once- it was like trying a whole new world of cuisine and everyone said how much they loved it (without me having to ask). If you're ever in need of deliciousness then go straight there because your stomach will thank ya later.

Ordered food, paid, and received a device to tell me when the order is ready. After approximately 30 min of waiting with no other customers, I checked in and the staff asked if I was the [insert my order] and then they started preparing it. Would not recommend unless you like waiting for zero reason.

I forgot to post a review for this establishment but a little late than never I suppose. This place continues to be the bomb. I got the Valentine's meal and the size of that steak was not disappointing. The sides were on point. I did have to wait a little but it's because they were making it very fresh and to perfection. This is why I put an early pick up time. If you can't wait for awesomeness and freshness you're crazy. These people take pride and put love in what they do and make. Deal with it.

Ordered a holiday prime rib dinner for Christmas eve. It was fabulous! The prime rib was delicious and the sides (green beans, honey balsamic brussel sprouts and creamed corn) were beyond amazing!! Everyone was happy and my Christmas was stress free. This is definitely the beginning of a new Christmas tradition! Love Jav's!!

This BBQ shop is located inside the structure that houses other restaurant and bar besides The shop. Building is located across from Anaheim Packing District. We ordered some meats and sides as a group. Smoked BBQ pork was good but it was a little dry. Sides were a hit and miss. Some of the good BBQ selections were already sold out so maybe what was served to us was not the shop favorites. You order as takeout and can take home the goodies or eat at the tables setup in the middle of the main gallery.
Ordered our Thanksgiving Dinner from Jav's this year which is something I would never have considered in past years. I am already planning on ordering again next year! The turkey was the best I have ever had! Sides were equally delicious! Thank you Jav's for doing all the work. I know there were some challenges with the power going out however, you and your team did an amazing job! Thank you again, much appreciation to you all!

We just got the Thanksgiving dinner smoked Turkey and it was raw in the middle. Completely raw. Smoked on the outside raw on the inside. We have to recook the turkey now that everyone is here to eat. The sides are small and for the 175 price, this is ridiculous. I would like an explanation as to why this was served undercooked.i look forward to your company's response. Happy rawgivings.

Wow, first time here. The meats were fantastic. The mashed potatoes and cream corn were some of the best. We are not BBQ experts, but we definitely give thumbs up. Beer next door just topped it all off at their outdoor patio area!!!! Lady behind counter was very helpful and super friendly. Thank you.

Oh...My....Gaaaa this place is so fricken good! You really can't beat your meat any better than this! This is very good BBQ for a casual joint. As a bonus you can take your meat over to the beer joint or the wine joint in the same building! I'm enjoying some Brisket....
