Grand opening! We saw the sign and decided to try (assume new owners). Staff was very nice and the food was excellent. We tried their signature “pan fired buns” which we will get again. Next up was the “pork soup dumplings” which were tasty and on target. Then, we tried the “beef roll” which was delicious. Definitely coming back to try other menu items. The owners treated us to their dessert dish which was perfect compliment. Nicely done.

I used to love coming here but I went back today. Got dumplings and rice, both items are waaaaaay too salty (and I do love salt on food). This is the type of salty where all you taste is the salt, nearly unedible :(Service was perfect! I just hope they fix the recipe.

Food is good if you like dumplings. They even gave 2 free fried chicken with our order. Their house sauce was a bit salty for my taste. All in all, I would go again.

Food is amazing , the Birria ramen is 5 star !!! Always quick even at lunch time rush , don't let the long line push you away they make it fast!!! The only down side is the servings are so large that you need a bigger bowl.

Honestly the food was not good. Service was great, food was prepped and ready to go quickly (although grub hub took time to deliver). But the food was just really unpleasant for me. Heavy on oils. Price was cheap, but I wouldn't consider it a value as rice to real food ratio heavily favored rice. (I hate to throw away food - HATE - but I was left with so much oily rice that I couldn't finish).Honestly ruined my appetite for the day. Maybe it was an off day? I have only had it once, so don't want to be too harsh (worker on the end of the line was very competent and helpful with my order). I just don't see myself trying this place again soon.

Love JDK. Perfect spot to get takeout on a busy night or lunch on a workday. The plaza JDK is in is poppin with restaurants and coffee shops, so it's a great place for remote workers. The staff at JDK are super friendly and their combo deals are solid. I personally like the OC dumplings and the bacon fried rice, but the Birria is always a hit too. The ambiance is stark, which is why I would recommend it for takeout more than dine in. PRO-TIP: their Family Meal is a great deal if you're trying to feed 4 or 5 pple.

When I walked in I thought it was just a dumpling house. It was way better that I could have ever imagined. I can't wait to go back

I work nearby and have tried most of the other places in that corner shopping center but a few months ago decided to try JDK. I wasn't disappointed and have been back 4 times since including today. The dumplings are magnificent especially the chicken OC Dumplings. Their Hot Mess Dumplings are great, too. The Birria Yaki Ramen is a winner.I haven't tried their soup yet but will next time.On top of the great food, the cute girl working there is always super friendly, smiling and accommodating. Win on every level! Keep up the great work. I'll for sure keep coming back

Stopped in for lunch, we tried the birria fried rice, orange chicken dumplings, and spicy Korean dumplings. Everything was fresh and delicious as well as the customer service. I recommend this dining experience.

I'm kind of surprised by the other reviews. I received their promotional flyer in the mail. Decided to give it a try. We used the two combo for $20 coupon. I will say when I called, it was very confusing to figure out the difference between their website menu, which apparently is not up-to-date, and the menu listed on the page. Some things that are called main course on the flyer are not the same as what is listed on the site.We got the chow mein, orange, chicken, dumplings, fried dumplings, hot and sour soup, and two piece fried chicken.I submitted a picture of the chicken, which is pretty clearly low quality meat. The breast piece was pretty over fried as well. The chow mein, which I asked for no onions with, but unfortunately they pre-make it, and it was like 50% onion. I'm not an onion person, but my kids didn't seem to mind. The hot and sour soup, my wife tried two spoonfuls and took a pass on it. I saw other folks comment on the quantity of food, but I did not think that this was that much. I would say after using the coupon, it was probably a reasonable amount. But without the coupon, I would say it's over priced for sure. Long story short, while the girl there was really nice, the only food we really liked were the dumplings. The soup is not great, the fried chicken was definitely burned and low quality meat, and the chow mein was mega onion filled. Two starts feels bad, but I think all of this considered, it's appropriate.
