Came here Thursday night before Ducks vs Canucks game. Super friendly staff, cold and refreshing hazy ipa and hot and crispy calamari appy for their happy hour. Great place to come before Angels or Ducks game!
Food was good. Service was ok, but will definitely give it another shot next time I'm on the area.

I had the pleasure of working with Danielle and the Karl Strauss Anaheim team for a Happy Hour for my company back in November.
We're based out of Michigan, but you wouldn't have known there was a 3-hour time difference, because Danielle's communications were quick and helpful.
As for the event itself, we had close to 100 people that circled through, and the Manager that night (Jacob) and all the servers assigned to our section (Blondie, Colin, Sky, Evenor, Bobby, Ally, and Michael) were AMAZING! Everyone went above and beyond with everything.
We got rave reviews from everyone who attended, and many selfies were taken with Angels Stadium in the background.
If our company is ever back in the Anaheim area, we'll definitely be back!

A decent place for a beer and pub fare — service and food weren’t quite up to par with the San Diego location but were still decent. The hummus plate was a little light on chips, and the carrots were raunchy, but the mains were good, especially the cotija burger. Service was good despite it being a busy night, and there’s plenty of parking even at happy hour.

Food is great. Beers are great. Kids mune us awesome. They love the giant bowl of parmesan butter noodles. Event parking here of $30 is comped with your bill if you eat here.
Kid-friendliness: Great kid options. They enjoyed watching the firetru ks across the street.

For more than two years I am a regular at Karl Strauss because in my view it is the by far best brew pub / sports bar in the Anaheim / Orange area. The top three reasons are as follows :
1. drinks : about two dozen different beers on tap, all of them local with a huge variety of types and tastes. I suggest to start the evening with one or two beer flights and finish it of with one
of your favourites ( mine is the high octane Wreck Alley ... )
2. food : high quality of dishes and a menu which goes beyond the usual sports bar food. I suggest to try one of the bowls ...
3. staff : very friendly, supportive and competent service people who make you feel welcome and at home.
