The food was fine and tasty, however we were party of 4 and as soon as two people finished their food waiters rushed in to take plates and give check. Two of us was still eating when this happened and it felt like the service was rushed for no reason, especially since it was 7:40 PM and there were no other tables taken and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Personally, would not like to return due to service.

Kettlebar provides amazing food with massive portions to go with it. Their pan roast is my favorite, offering a creamy tomato soup with chicken and sausage. To top it off, they give free bread with a delicious honey butter bread. Everytime I come here I know I'm leaving stuffed and satisfied

Pains me to write this review, I've tried Kettlebar once and got it to go and was so impressed that I wanted to battle the parking lot of the packing district to try this place dining in. I drove over 30 mins to get here, battled parking just to be denied. They informed that they were really backed up so I said okay can i sit at the bar and order a drink until you guys aren't as backed up? No. I couldn't even get a seat when there were plenty open. I understand the kitchen being backed up but I was willing to wait it out with a drink and I couldn't even do that. I'll forever be a customer of Ritter's for this reason. Will I come back? Maybe when I'm not so upset. Those wanting to try I suggest calling to make sure that they'll take dine in customers or maybe customers in general since to go wasn't an option either.

Had a hankering for pan roast and I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place. It's tucked away in the bottom corner of the packing district. Luckily we were seated as soon as we got there because there was space at the bar (which is open seating). Our drinks and food orders were taken promptly and our server was helpful with answering any questions we had about the menu. Ordered the pan roast and they certainly didn't skimp out on any of the protein. Every bite had a piece of meat. Went with the kettlebar which had shrimp, crawdads, chicken, and topped with crab. I'd definitely order it again.

TLDR: A serviceable option for kettle-cooked southern pan roast. Not as rich and creamy as Ritter's so ultimately not as satisfying. A large venue with many seating options. Service was good. Certainly an OK place. Pros: -If you live in the area, closest pan roast option in town -No real complaints on any level -If you like spice, holy moly the spice level! Cons: -Doesn't slap like Ritters -Fried bayou okra and pickles fairly salty Visit Again? Rating: -Only if a friend was REALLY in the mood for pan roast and we were too buzzed to drive to Ritters

I was so pleasantly surprised at the quality of food here! Usually food hall food is mid and seldomly spectacular. We came at peak dinner time on Thursday night and were sat pretty fast. The hostess was running around doing everything! She is an amazing employee and deserves a raise for sure. She poured our wine too! I really appreciate how hard she was working. The food came out quick. The oysters tasted so clean and fresh. The fried oysters were so good we were sad it ended so soon. The dirty noodles had marrow in it that made it so creamy and savory. That's one item I would definitely get again. The Nola pan roast is very good as well with chunks of fish, shrimp, crawfish, and sausage. I will gladly come here again. I can't believe it took so long for me to try it!

Yeah, for sure five stars here. We visited on a Saturday night and the packing house was..packed. But tucked away in the ground corner was this boutique size restaurant serving big time taste accompanied by down home service. The stews/soups are the specialty here. We both had protein in the bisque sauce. So tasty! Fresh made and quality ingredients. I'm low-carb and still are the small piece of garlic bread that they stick in it. Our appetizer was fried okra/pickles. They too were excellent. Not a bit greasy and the batter stays put. There's a nice chipotle sauce that comes with that. It a full bar, but try one of the signature drinks. My wife had "Something Fun" and loved it. Everything clicked on our visit, and given the strength of food and service from Kettlebar I'm sure yours will too.

I have been craving some panroast and we usually can only get it in vegas when we visit. We usually visit Anaheim Packing District during the day and all other times during Covid this place was closed, so I never really noticed it. But finally they were open and I'm so glad we stopped to try. My husband usually isn't into Cajun/creole food but he had the gumbo and he loved it. My kids also loves their Mac and cheese, garlic noodle, and battered garlic parm fries. They gave it a 10/10 cos it was "bussin". I got the Kettlebar Creamy tomato bisque and honestly think it might be better than the famous Oyster bar at Palace Station. The staff were very friendly and attentive and nice about the 3 bowls of cheese my kids asked for. We'll be coming back everytime we visit the area.

Met a friend here for dinner. Arrived around 6:30pm and were seated right away. Tuesdays are the $14 special of any stew base with chicken, shrimp, and sausage (a good amount of protein). Both dishes were served within 10 minutes of ordering. I love how not only do you get rice with your stew, they also give you a buttered roll to dip into the yummy goodness too. I liked how the chowder was not overwhelmed with bacon flavor, and the creamy base was not too heavy. The gumbo also had good flavor without tasting too floury or peppery. Both dishes are well-balanced and perfectly salted. Tuesday evenings are less crowded at the Anaheim Packing House. Parking is still a pain so if you're all for convenience, they offer $7 valet (which closes at 10pm on Tuesdays). Overall, a great meal and very affordable too!

Went here and sat for about an hour without being served any food. Bummer! Nobody checked throughout the duration of our stay. Very disappointed Edit - In response to the owners reply: That is false. There were about 3 other parties eating there when we arrived. We were not made aware of any such circumstances as you claim. We were served calamari but no entrees because in the waitresses own words, their computer was down. In reality I saw many other people getting their entrees, and she just flat out forgot to put our order in. We had reservations for another establishment and had to leave by the time any of the wait staff realized there was a problem. Fix your own problems instead of calling BS on patrons. I even paid for the calamari even though your staff was clueless and we never got out entrées after an extended period. We will not be back.

Was disappointed by their drink menu (limited) so ordered a cucumber martini thinking you can't really mess that up, but turns out you can! Oof Calamari - 5/10. Overly breaded and came out doused in a balsamic glaze which I thought was odd Voodoo fries - 6/10 ... Decent but more of an entree than an appetizer. Huge Pan roast - 6/10 - big portion but not super rich and flavorful like Im used to it being at other places Really wanted to like this place too

Finally got a chance to come and get some good grub, I don't like most restaurants in the Packing House but Kettlebar is the few saving grace restaurant here. I had their Nola-Gumbo with the Extra Spicy, which was great but I'll get their max heat Habanero next time. The gumbo came a little runny, but it was a great consistency after mixing the rice in. The sausage was my favorite out of the proteins in the mix with the smokiness and spice perfectly intertwined. My friend had their Fisherman's Catch-Clam Chowder with bread bowl which was pretty amazing and they gave a bowl side of it when it couldn't all fit in the bread bowl. Everything here was great, definitely can't wait to come back to try their Pan Roast.

The kettle bar medium spicy was not very spicy at all. The tomato soup from black sheep was spocier than kettle bar's medium spicy. The kettle bar creamy seafood bisque was good, has good amount of complexity, plenty of shrimp, crab, and chicken meat. Would go again prob on a Tuesday or Thursday for special deals and also would get the higher spicy next time.

ROACH INFESTED!!! Do not eat here! Me and my sister came here on Saturday 09/03/2022 at about 8:45pm and there was a big roach crawling on the wall directly behind us. We were disgusted and we grabbed the waiter immediately! The waiter informed us that this was a problem for the entire packing district and that they are refusing to do something about it. The waiter also informed us to contact the health department. They did comp our entire bill but i am still disgusted because we had already started eating our food! I cannot believe i ate a few bites of food from a reach infested place. Please don’t go here ! This review was also left on yelp
