Love this place. The hubs and I usually share the BBQ combo plate. It's plenty of food and so tasty. Outside of the spam items (because I don't like it no matter how it's cooked) I enjoy all their food.
The Katsu sauce is way more sugary than before and it’s shame to see the Shrinking of the plates, BBQ mix plate used to be way larger then it was. smaller and prices higher. Shrinkflation at its finest.
It is the typical L&L franchise with the bland Mac salad you get at all the other locations around. The food is pre cooked put in a pan and when you order it is thrown on the grill to warm up, because of that the chicken is stringy, the beef and short ribs is dry and chewy.. it is ok if your in a hurry and want some “hawaiian” bbq.. there are other hawaiian bbq places around like Ono bbq.
