Great break from crowds within the park! Burger and sliders were good, not great. Pork chop was FABULOUS!! Potato skins were very good. Service is top notch. Pricey!
The food and drinks here were better than California Adventures more fancy sit down spots. Skip the Carthy circle restrant and just go here. Very small limited menu, would have loved more options. Also very light on the alcohol for the drinks. Not looking to get drunk but if I order a drink I have to show my ID for id like to taste something
Service from Gabriel R was spectacular
The menu just changed and it is all so good. The only issue we had was being seated outside made the potato skins cold rather quickly. I got the Chicken Saltado and it was cooked very well, and had plenty of seasoning.
Not pictured is the Brussels sprouts my partner got, and he said they are the BEST Brussels sprouts he's ever had. He even went to far as to get a manager to tell them such.
There's a paprika aioli that you should ask for, too. It came with the potato skins, but if you get fries or other dippables, thats the best.
My family & I were really looking forward to dining at Lamplight Lounge, but our experience was a huge letdown. First off, they no longer allow you to order the famous Lobster Nachos if you have a reservation for the main restaurant -- it's only available on the pier/patio area now. Disappointing start.
Our original server, Sydney, took our order and then went on her lunch break. After that, everything went downhill. Tables seated after us got their food way before we did. The server who took over kept assuring us our food was on its way, but over 40 minutes passed and still nothing. We finally spoke to James, the manager, who was incredibly dismissive. He insisted we had only been waiting 15-20 minutes, even though we knew it had been over 45 (I had made a phone call a few mins before we ordered so it was timestamped). No apology, just gaslighting.
We asked for at least our appetizers -- anything -- and were told the kitchen only sends food out all at once. That policy is frustrating when you're already starving and watching other tables get served.
Nearly an hour later, we finally got our food... right as Sydney came back. She apologized and said she'd bring out a manager. We said we didn't want to speak to James again -- thankfully, Zack came instead. He was the only saving grace. Zack genuinely listened, apologized multiple times, and even gave us lightning lane passes as a gesture, which we SO appreciated. Honestly I thought we would be offered a free dessert or 5% off our meal. But hey, I'll take a lightning lane pass that we can use outside the normal 3 hour window in between!
All in all, the poor service, long wait, and terrible handling from James ruined what should've been a fun meal. Thanks to Sydney & Zack for doing their best to turn things around, but unfortunately, I can't recommend the formal Lamplight Lounge based on this experience. I'll give the patio Lamplight Lounge more tries. For now.
The food portion is perfect - and all the cocktails and mocktails are so good!
We made a reservation here, ordered the potato skins the one thing my family and I were looking forward to. The server never told us that they are completely different. Once we got our food, she never checked on us to make sure that it was OK. And when she came to give us the check, I let her know that it wasn’t what I wanted and all they did was give us 10%. I really don’t feel that is the Disney experience when you’re coming with children and you change your food items you should let us know as soon as they were ordered, and if it’s something that I didn’t want and she didn’t check on us, they should’ve taken it off the menu, but that was not the case. I will never come back here again.😤😡

We did our reservation 60 days out like we were supposed to. Looked forward to the lobster nachos and the world of color show. Only to find out when we got there that the lobster nachos are only available upstairs at the boardwalk dining area. No ability to accommodate a move to those tables and refused to let us get a to go order to bring downstairs. Ridiculous. If you want the nachos don’t book here. You can only get them at the walk up waitlist only boardwalk area.
The one place in California Adventure for adults to make a pit stop!
Usually reservations are 60 days out, but DCA accepts walk ins. There is the list for the downstairs restaurant and an upstairs walk in line for the Bar service upstairs. For those on THE GO, there is a dedicated TO GO LINE.
My advice? The line to the restaurant was much faster than the 2 lines for up stairs.
Must try:
Secret menu drink Fun Wheel
Lobster Nachos
Best part of Lamplight? Is the view !!

Food is absolute trash here, but our server was great! Literally, you'll enjoy McDonald's more than you will the food here. $25 for cold overdone dinky sliders without fries or any sides. Hard pass.
Amazing staff and food, try the fish tacos......
Booked this reservation 4 months ahead of our trip to DCA. Was extremely disappointed upon being seated. We were seated outside at a high top arrangement. Kids and tall chairs are not desirable. We asked about a different table and were told it would be an additional wait time. The menu is extremely limited and very expensive. We had done some research prior to our trip however our experience was not anything near what we researched. 26$ burger that was subpar, dry and basic. The kids slider burger was a joke. The Korean pork chop was tasty however not a 30$ plate of food. I do not recommend this meal experience at DCA. We were looking forward to ambiance inside the restaurant as there is a lot to see. The atmosphere was non- existent at a 7pm reservation for us. Hope you have a better experience.
Better not to make a reservation. Waited 30 minutes for the food to come out. The food was at room temperature.
This place is great. We definitely will try to come back. Thats kind of the knocker tho…
So first off, the staff was great. Patient when handling the high volume off people and potentially high strung guests on vacation. Food was creative with plenty of flavor. Atmosphere is top notch (obviously).
The dock in the star was the slight biff on the menu availability. That potentially due to the wide amount of venues to communicate the menu while trying to stay current. That, and the hoops to jump thru to get a seat—best done by reservation.
All said and done, nothing short of the expectations from Disney. PS. Shoutout to Hoppy for her service and patience. That did not go unnoticed! Thank you again. 🤙🏽
