We were visiting Disneyland California Adventure on a Monday and around 7:30pm, we tried to eat at a few restaurants but were not able to secure a table without reservations. One of the restaurants recommended us to try the Lamplight Lounge. We put our name on a wait list and were told that the wait was 30 minutes. But we got lucky and only waited for 15 minutes to get seated in the restaurant. Lamplight Lounge serves bar food. The food menu was limited but has an extensive drink menu with variety of selections especially the cocktails. Food pricing was reasonable for a sit down restaurant at California Adventure. This restaurant is located right next to the water of Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure. The interior is decorated with Pixar memorabilia. We sat inside at booth table, by the bar, with a bunch of cars under the glass. We have the beautiful view of the pier, the Fun Wheel, Incredicoaster and Silly Symphony Swings. The food was decent for a lounge. After our dinner, we asked the hostess if we’re able watch the World of Colors show at the restaurant. The hostess told us that they could move our group to an outdoor table so we could watch the show at our seats. The best part was that they didn’t even pressure us to buy drinks or additional food to sit outside and occupied a table. In fact, the waitstaff was so nice and brought us hot and cold water to have while waiting for the show. The restaurant actually closed their doors before the World of Color show which was at 9pm. This prevented other people at the park to rush in the restaurant just to watch the show. The World of Color show was spectacular and the little ones in our group (and the adults, too) were mesmerized and it lasted over 20 minutes.
Beautiful, panoramic water view and the lovely, attentive customer service will bring us back to Lamplight Lounge when we visit Disneyland in the future.

We checked in on the app and were spoke to get a spot pretty quickly. I got a mocktail and it was a fun little soda drink but we also got a drink like an iron mule drink but it was a pretty strong drink ;). Great refreshing outside seating area at the bar with plenty of cute pictures and friendly staff all around ready to help you. I loved this little eatery and definitely want to try more here.

The worst service for a long time. Didn't even acknowledge a 13 year olds birthday, even though I booked weeks in advance and clearly noted in multiple times.

Went here for lunch. The food tasted great at the time, but put us out of commission after a few hours. It seems one of their food items might have given us food poisoning. Had to end our day short due to it. Probably once in a blue moon thing. Good tasting food, but beware.

I had considered Lamplight Lounge as one of better choices for food at Disneyland, but my recent trip proved it’s just as bad as the park’s stalls that sell overpriced carnival food.
I ordered chilaquiles and they were disgusting. The chilaquiles were SO DRENCHED in sauce that some of the chips dissolved into the sauce. It felt like I was eating a hearty soup instead of chilaquiles. I salvaged what I could because I was starving.
To top it off the service was alright. The server only checked on us once right when we were about ready to head out. I had told her of my dissatisfaction with the meal and didn’t offer any sort of discount or apology. I’m not entitled to either, but still, a nice thing to offer especially when I’m paying $22 for this meal.
Thoroughly disappointed. $22 for a meal reminiscent of pig slop? No thank you. Do better.
Lamplight lounge, located at Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure, is one of the most popular sit down restaurants in the park, and reservations are often hard to get. You’ll need to keep refreshing the app to snag a spot. Recently, when the World of Color show was closed (from 9/9 to 10/22/2024), it was a bit easier to get reservations around dinnertime. However, now that the show is back, trying to walk in without a reservation will likely result in no available tables.
We got lucky during our visit for the Oogie Boogie Halloween Party and managed to grab a 4PM reservation (the restaurant closes at 6 PM on event nights).
One of the highlights here is the Lobster Nachos, famous for a reason! At $26, a bit pricey but definitely worth it. The restaurant also offers a great selection of beers. My husband was torn between two choices: Pizza Port Honey Blonde Ale from San Clemente, CA, and Mother Earth Cali Creamsicle from San Diego, CA. The server was super nice and brought him two small samples to try before deciding. We both voted for the Cali Creamsicle at $15.
As for drinks, my cousin and I each got a non-alcoholic 2319 ($8), a refreshing mix of strawberry, coconut milk, pineapple, and Coke—so good!
With the sunny weather and the backdrop of the Incredicoaster and Ferris wheel, it’s a perfect spot for snapping some photos. It’s also a great place to relax, people-watch, and take a break. Definitely a spot worth checking out!

Made a reservation here for lunch. My partner had the monster nachos with steak. I had the pork chop with polenta. Nachos I would rate a 4.0. The pork chop at 3.8 out of 5. A very Latin rub on the chop. Nice flavor and looked beautiful but arrived to table cool. The nachos had great cheese etc but needed some sour cream. They also arrived a bit cool. The atmosphere was kinda fun. I would not eat there again. Folks only drinking at the bar seemed to be having the best time.

Excellent service and atmosphere was great!! However, our party of 10 waited quite a while for undercooked chicken and pork dishes, an overcooked salmon dish and steak nachos that had a couple bites of steak and cheese that was barely melted. Disappointed to say the least. I expected a much better meal, having spent as much as we did to spend the day at the park!

Awful queueing and welcome arrangements for a pre-booking, restaurant was late opening for brunch and guests forced (for no real reason) to walk halfway back down the boardwalk. No entrance sign. No explanation of how to check in on display. Reception desk completely abandoned. Instead of asking where we'd like to sit (in an empty restaurant) it took three attempts to sit us at a table which met our requirements. Food took over an hour to arrive and when it did the eggs on the Benedicts were raw after we had requested medium. Instead of re-prepping the food it was reheated with different eggs. Food itself was a salt bomb and lacklustre. Up there with the worst restaurant experiences I've had anywhere over three continents. I still tipped the poor server however, it wasn't his fault. Great location, absolutely wasted and crying out for a competent restaurant manager. Not in keeping with the standard elsewhere in Disney Parks, unless things change - avoid, go to any other DCA eating spot instead, they're all miles better.

The customer service was OUT of this world and the atmosphere was amazing. I love the view that this place provides. The pork chop was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I can't recommend it enough. The potato skins were creamy and flakey and cheesy and just 10/10 delicious - compliments to the chef. The pineapple dolwhip shot is going to knock your mickey ears off. Try this place out if you want to have a luxurious disney experience.

Servers laughed and made a big deal about a disability one of my party members has. Making the need to change seats a much bigger issue than it needed to be.
