Octopus appetizer- is a must have! Very tender octupus with celery root puree. So good that i want to learn how to cook an octupus.. Paella negra - so happy to see a socarrat! A paella packed with umami. So good that i do not mind having blackened lips from the squid ink. Bread and tomatoes - another must have. So simple but oh so delicious! Mushrooms - a tasty surprise as you can still taste the wine. Short ribs entree dish - if you want something close to bœuf bourguignon, order this dish. So tender and juicy! Patatas bravas - not so crispy. I could skip ordering this and order the bread and tomato dish instead. Cheesecake- ill be dreaming of having this again. Perfect blend of sweetness and bitterness from the burnt top. Surprisingly light! Service - superb! Ambiance- romantic and relaxing Would i come back again? - 100% yes!

Our group was two couples. First time visitors based on a review in the OC Register. We chose inside and a regular table. We arrived right at 5 and the sun glare was a little string, but tolerable. Our table and experience was great, but now that we have visited the restaurant, I would suggest outside seating. It turned out to be a nice evening with good temperatures and no wind. The one advantage to inside seating is we could see our food being prepared. The Paella Negra was very good as we're both salads, the empanadas and the Jamon croquettes. A very good experience.

We really enjoyed Top of the V! Order the Goddess salad, it is perfect for sharing! If you order the shrimp appetizer then you definitely have to get the bread as it is soft and flaky! My wife ordered the sea bass which was crispy and delicious. I ordered the picanha steak and it was amazing. The only suggestion I would give is the carrots were hard and not flavorful at all. Also the did a food action on our entrees, which for fine dining should never happen.

View and service were amazing! Our server was attentive and friendly. Would not recommend the olive oil cake. It was dry and lacked flavor.

Martha was great as our server! Food was under seasoned and not as good as you would expect for the price.

Venue is nice but very small , excellent views if you pay for the table next to the window. The restaurant was very cold that night maybe because we were next to the window and we went for vday. Considering the weather outside was chilly but the restaurant should have been warm . Food was overpriced for small dishes except for the seafood paella that is a shareable dish. The sea bass fish was sliced very thin, seems more of an appetizer dish. Service was excellent. Overall I experienced it but since a lot of people from Disney stay there I think they will be fine for having guests . Many of them were in swimwear walking around with lots of kids . Overall I think it's a nice date night for some good drinks and very light food .

I love it here. Is the train close by and loud? Yes. Can you hear it from inside? No. Is the food delicious? Yes. It's the easiest reason to give this place a try. The staff is friendly and quick. Try the tiger steak to start. Sit outside with the plants. Take in the neon and occasional Disney soundtrack for the kids. It's a fun place for all. Definitely on my placentia must visits.

Excellent food! Comparable to what I have had in Thailand, rather than an Americanized version. Service was great. Good food, good people - can't do better than that. My Thai comfort food is Pad See Eew and Luck Gai's was awesome. Will definitely be back even though it's nowhere near where I live.

Service was fair, we were at the New Year's party where all food was included. However most finger foods was sent out via waiters to a room with 100+ guests in trays containing an average of 12 pieces maybe 4 waiters were present, the food was never enough to offer the guests the appetizers would take about 10 mins to make per tray so there was never enough food sent out. The charcuterie table was always empty and the line for the sliders was always long about 10 mins to get a slider which by the way they ran out of bread 2 and a half hours into the event.

The New Years Eve Party at the Top of The V was absolutely amazing. My new wife and I got married earlier in the day and this was the best way to end our first day as husband and wife with some of our friends, having delicious food, drinks, dancing throughout the night and enjoying the Disneyland fireworks at midnight to bring in the new year. The hosts, servers, chefs and bartenders were very attentive, and the DJ provided a great night of music to dance to. I would definitely recommend this event!

This was a complete cash grab if I ever saw one. It was a complete disaster that ruined our new years. We couldn't even comprehend staying to midnight it was soooo bad!! These thieves knew rain was in the forecast and sold more tickets anyway. Cramming everyone inside without tables for everyone, fed us bs meat and cheese slices and prime rib sliders you could have gotten at Vons. We were forced to sit at this makeshift table setup by the kitchen while the super long line of people for the sliders was next to us in our personal space. This wasn't a new year celebration, THIS WAS THEFT!!

Beautiful views and ambiance. The staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the food was not that good, but maybe it was because it was an event.

The ambiance , service , and views were great . I have been to this restaurant in the past and the food was pricey but amazing. For this event , the price was excessive and not worth having to wait 30 min in line to get sliders. The tray service was good but not worth the price. I wouldn't mind the price if f I was served at my table

Lovely, elegant dining experience and service in the Top of the V! Very quiet, clean area with an outdoor patio area and view of the city. Exotic food options and unique drinks...will come back again!
