The food was Soso for the price. We had the fonduta and that was very good 10/10. Also ordered the bucatini alle volgole and it was awful. The calms were beyond small, bland tasting noodles 0/10. Not worth the price. Avalon cooler drink was very yummy. 10/10. Overall. The view wasn’t that great, and food was just ok, small portions. I wouldn’t go again for food just drinks. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Wheelchair access since my significant other was in a wheelchair. The money we spent isn’t worth the restaurant my opinion.

Staff were approachable and pleasant.
Honestly probably the worst place in the park for gluten free food.
I’ve been so impressed with all the gluten free options in Disney until we came here.
My daughter had a slider and yogurt. Her yogurt was warm and her bread was super burnt she could hardly bite into it and I just got a mediocre salad. It was pricey and not great. 😡
We had the fonduta- it wasn’t melted. Then we selected the Gnocchi and salad. The salad was drenched in dressing. If you want to try it, ask for the dressing on the side.

Service is very slow. Getting seated always takes forever, even with a reservation. Food portions are good at least.

Magic Key Terrace is accessible to those with Magic Key passes. If you don't have a pass, kindly ask a friend who does to invite you. I've been fortunate to visit this spot a few times. If you need a place to relax and get away from all the Disney madness, it's worth a visit. Located on the second floor above Mendocino Terrace, it feels like a restaurant lounge.
Our most recent visit was during the release of the new menu (08/17/25). We made reservations for an early lunch slot. Our table was ready within a few minutes after checking in. The Terrace was a bit hectic today, so props to the staff. Many guests were as excited as we were to try the new items here, which hadn't changed in a few years.
We looked over the menus and ordered a few drinks and an appetizer to start. We enjoyed the Lime Thyme and Mint Julep Cocktail; both were refreshing. One in our party had a Hazelnut Affogato Dessert Cocktail for dessert, which was a great way to end the meal.
For food, we had a mix of items, all of which were delicious and satisfying. No leftovers were claimed. We ordered the Arancini, Panzanella, Roast Half Chicken, and the Bucatini Alle Vongole. Serving size won't leave you feeling a food coma. The amount was just right for me, but those with bigger appetites may feel underwhelmed.
We had a couple of kids in our group, and they enjoyed their Cheese Pizza and Slider meals, which came with fruit, veggies, yogurt, and a drink. They cleaned their plates also.
Overall, it was another pleasant experience, and our server was kind and attentive. The food and drinks come out promptly despite a busy lunch. Lastly, the high prices reflect the Disney resorts, which is no longer surprising. Terrace is still an enjoyable, yet occasional treat.

✨🗝️ Magic Key Terrace? More like Magic Crave Terrace! 🗝️✨
We unlocked a whole new world of flavor with this visit! 🔑😋
First up, the San Fransokyo Short Rib Plate was Baymax-imum deliciousness — fall-off-the-bone tender with the edamame and ginger giving it a Big Hero YUM. 🦴🥢
The Emperor's New Flatbread? Let’s just say Kuzco would definitely not throw this off a cliff. 🐔🥔 The chicken was juicy, the potatoes crispy, and the flavors? Totally groove-approved. Picture not included, it was devoured.
And don’t even get me started on the Sourdough Tiramisu… I came. I saw. I sourdough'd. 🍞☕ A whimsical twist on a classic dessert — it was brew-tifully balanced and tira-must-have. Picture not included as it was also devoured.
Magic Key Terrace truly sprinkled pixie dust on my palate. 🧚♀️ 10/10 — would skip a parade to eat here again. 🎠🍴

I used to love this place a lot more than I do now. It’s a decent spot for a drink and a snack with a cool view. The food has sort of gone down hill since the menu change they recently did. It seems menus at Disney park get updated often, but rarely this one. When it’s supposed to be an exclusive perk for magic key holders you’d think there would be a little more effort put into this place. I will say, the staff is never an issue here. They’ve all been kind and attentive. (Just a tip: Make sure you check the menu beforehand since there isn’t much options for dietary restrictions.)

First time here, so I had high hopes.
The atmosphere is great! Very clean and the views are great. It was nice to have a little quiet peace amidst the chaos.
The service was not great, we sat for a good 5+ minutes before being greeted, and drinks were not refilled promptly.
I ordered the flat bread and a beer, and hubby had the seafood pasta.
The seafood was very mushy, and the pasta was dried out. Same goes for my flatbread, it’s was cool and the bread and chicken had that dry, been sitting out too long texture. I ended up sending it back which they took off the bill. Will not be going back as it was way too much money for mediocre.

I don’t understand the poor ratings. The staff are amazing, the view is perfect, the area is so peaceful, and the food wonderful.
Please don’t let the photos deceive you, the meat looks dry, but it was so buttery soft, fork tender, and moist. My dessert was by the far the best I’ve had in Disney, and we’ve tried lots. LOTS. lol Including the World of Color Dessert Party and the Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party. This dessert was so decadent and wonderful.

We had a cauliflower chile dip with chips and it was not great. The rest of the food is pretty good. We come often to cool off and have a drink. They have signature cocktails BUT they also have an open full bar.
I had the pleasure of eating here with my wife to celebrate her birthday, and I have to say that it is pretty pricey and doesn't have much of a selection of food. For instance, we went for the World of Color package, which only had 3 selections for dinner. I had braised beef shoulder and it was very expensive. It was good but the most I've ever paid for braised beef, and I found that this meal cost more than Blue Bayou in Disneyland. I was very surprised. The deep fried guinea hen was pretty good, but not worth it. Lastly, we had the tiramisu cake at the end, and that was good. Having the World of Color package means that they give you a ticket to a specific area near the event. First come first serve. In all, I wouldn't come here again. Costs too much, but the view is nice.
For a place that you have to have already paid a premium (magic Key subscribers and their guests) to get into, you would think that the experience would be a little better than other Disneyland dining options. Nope. I was seated at a table so wobbly, that I started thinking that I was at sea. I asked twice to get the table fixed, in a restaurant that wasn't busy or anywhere near capacity. The fried chicken plate (fried Cornish game hen) didn't taste good, and the weirdly rounded cutlery (which I had to ask for when my meal arrived) meant that you couldn't get a decent grip without going into full on caveman mode. The weird cutlery actually gave me hand cramps because it turned in my hand every time I tried to stab something on the plate. The 'tiramisu' dessert was a complete failure and tasted so bland that I stopped eating it because it was not enjoyable.
I feel like the server left everything to the busser (who was the best part of this place) and I saw her more at the table next to me where her friends had been seated, than in my entire stay.
Very unimpressed. I should have just gone to Roscoe's for my chicken. But at least the bathrooms were fairly clean. So it has that going for it.
Out of short ribs at 130pm, food was ok, waited 15 more minutes than what was told...would not come back here, ever
