Visited for World of Color dining. Seated 40min after our reservation and we were getting anxious because it’s close to show time. Our server was slow, inattentive and devoid of a smile. The chicken was bland. Ribs were tasty but small - shocked we had to pay extra given the portion size. The kids pizza was a joke. I’ve gotten better frozen pizza at Safeway. The $37 price for the kids meal is all about the seats and not the food.Only spend $62/ adult and $37/ kid if you see the value in the seats and not the food or service. This was a terrible experience for Magic Key holders who know the best of what Disney can do. We enjoyed World of Color dining at Cathay where the food and experience are far superior. Not here.

This was my first experience at the magic key terrace and I enjoyed myself! I tried the flatbread and the short rib and I'd get both again. The chew chew and mint juilep were tasty as well. We enjoyed the atmosphere, sitting outside under a grapevine lattice.

This is a nice place to come and relax in the park. There is a wonderful view of California Adventure. We went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was very quiet. We loved getting to take a break in such a nice area.We ordered the flat bread and Caesar salad. They were both solid. I liked the food and would come back to try more. We also ordered a delicious bottle of wine to share. It was a great experience we look forward to returning soon.

Food was just okay. Disappointed that you could not add a chicken breast to the Caesar salad. Our waitress was very inattentive. I had already finished my meal and not once had she come by to refill drinks or check on us. They should stop by at least once to see if everything is okay. The one saving grace was Alfredo. He was busing the table next to us and noticed our neglected state. He thankfully stepped in to take care of us. We are grateful for him and hope Disney sees this review to give him recognition.

I had some ambivalence about coming here, but my family members are key holders, and so I wasn't going to complain. Upon entering the terrace, you get a really nice overview of the area between Carsland and the entrance to the San Fransokyo area. We luckily went on a sunny (but windy) day, so it was not a bad area to have lunch. We were sat around a small table with comfy seating and right by the bar area, and the servers were happy to help accommodate the big group that we had. But onto the food. Caesar Salad - 3.75/5 I was pleasantly surprised by how good this was despite having such a weird presentation with huge lettuce gems. While it was good, it definitely could've used more dressing. I also would've preferred that it was just set up as a traditional salad. Route 66 Fried Chicken - 4/5 This was actually pretty good. The hen was really well cooked and crispy. I also really enjoyed the gravy and the vegetables. They were well seasoned and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were lacking a little substance in terms of flavor for me, but this honestly wasn't bad at all. San Franksokyo Short Rib - 5/5 Honestly, if this wasn't so expensive, I would've ordered it again. This was honestly so good. The sauce pairing was lovely and the meat was so so tender. I was kinda sad I had to share. Thoroughly enjoyed this one. Overall, this wasn't a bad experience at all. Is it pricey for a theme park? Of course. I don't know if I'd necessarily go here again, but I'm glad I had the experience that I did.

Update 2/15/24: The ambiance at the Magic Key Terrace is modern and chic. The service is good, and the serving staff work as a team refilling your beverage in a timely manner when needed. We ordered a couple entrees, the Route 66 fried chicken and the San Fransokyo Short Rib. San Fransokyo Short Rib - 5/5 The short rib was boneless with White Miso Smashed Edamame, Carrot-Ginger Purée, Roasted Edamame, Bacon, Pineapple-Togarashi Gel, Pickled Ginger, Green Onions and a Teriyaki Reduction. The short rib was deliciously savory and tender. The combination of all the condiments along with the teriyaki reduction made this selection extremely flavorful and mouth watering delicious. I would definitely order this selection again if available. Route 66 Fried Chicken - 5/5 The Route 66 Fried Chicken is actually a Fried Cornish Hen with Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Seasonal Vegetables and Mushroom Herb Gravy The breading was perfectly fried to give a delicious crunch when biting into the hen. The hen was cooked perfectly so the white meat was not dry. The white meat retained moistness, and was very flavorful. The herb gravy was very flavorful and combined well with the hen. The roasted carrots were prepared perfectly, and were flavorful. I would recommend ordering this selection too. Overall, we have had excellent experience dining at the Magic Key Terrace. It is a little pricy. If you are to, I would recommend giving the Magic Key Terrace a visit.

We had a table with a nice view. The food was great. And the three course World of color meal is pricey, but we thought it was worth it for a Valentine's Day splurge since it included preferred viewing for WOC. However I wish they had mentioned that area does NOT have seats! Our back up waiter Mario took great care of us and was super nice. The hostesses are great too!

We went on 1/26/24 at 6:30 pm, and we were asking about low-carb option, and the cast called "Debra" (short, short dark hair chubby lady) sarcastically questioned "at Disneyland?" This was really offensive, as we have dietary needs related to blood sugar. Besides, when I asked if the braising sauce was say sauce, and she cursed "Jesus!" This is unacceptable attitude coming from a cast because the difference between soy sauce and teriyaki sauce is huge for the damage to the blood sugar. If you don't care or incapable/unwilling to understand, at least respect and don't give misinformation or make fun of it. I have been having blood sugar issues since 18 months old, and their website says to ask the cast, so I did, and this was not what I deserved. They shouldn't be a Disney cast if they have attitude like that even in the U.S. location.

Such a hole in the wall at DCA. Food is incredibly paired in great detail and tastes so flavorful! One of a kind service, thank you to Katsumi our wonderful server!! Definitely coming back :)

Food selection is limited here but we can always find something to eat here. It's a nice shaded area for those hot summer days. Also it's an area where you can kind of get away from the crowd for a little bit and enjoy your meal. So far the food we have order has always been delicious. Staffs are usually quick and friendly. I like how they change up the menu every few months so it doesn't get boring eating the same thing all the time.

If you are a Magic Key holder and want to celebrate a birthday you should make a reservation for a great experience. For an extra cost they do offer a cake. This year is 100th Disneyland Anniversary a 100th offering is found in certain restaurants. ;,

It should be a special place for magic key. Folders to have a. Well prepared meal. Unfortunately it's not. It's the same mass production you find in the other food outlets, just on a table. The country fried cornish game hand was very good. But everything else Had been sitting around who knows how long.

The food to me was pretty good! Got the Route 66 fried chicken and the cauliflower dish and loved them both. It's nice to have a quieter and more exclusive place for magic key holders. There's still wait time though. For my party of 4, we waited for an hour which is not bad. Service was good, could be improved. Bathroom was clean. But I think they should improve on the deserts as there was only one option, churros.

I went for the first time for my 21st birthday and decided to share a quesabirria flatbread with my boyfriend and it was pretty good for disney food. I got the 5...4...3...2...1 to drink and it was a 10/10, I'm already booked to go again specially for that drink lmao. The service was great and there's a good view of the ferris wheel if you happen to get window seats. If you're a magic key holder I definitely recommend trying it out at least once. It's a good place to get away from the huge crowds too.
