This place used to be called Sawali but I guess it closed down. They have the same menu, my favorites were bistik, kaldereta, and crispy pata. I had bistik and dinugoan. Pretty delicious! Authentic taste even though it has a new name now. I knew the lady back then in sawali. Wonder how she is

For a quick and satisfying Filipino fix,
Manila Grille Anaheim is a great spot. The selection of dishes is impressive. The beef caldereta was particularly flavorful, and the kare-kare was a standout dish, showcasing a thoughtful balance of flavors and textures. The portions are generous, and the prices are incredibly affordable for the quality and quantity of food you receive.
The friendly staff and efficient service make it a perfect stop for breakfast, lunch or a quick dinner.
Plus, you can find delicious and sweet Filipino desserts like turon and halo-halo at the counter to complete your meal. We'll definitely be returning soon!

This place is great nut their hours are inconsistent. They aren't open regularly and are closed often.
