Tom , I worked for you long before my children were born, when your parents were still running the restaurant. I have an idea no one can match the amazing food. Why don’t you write a book of recipes, the true ones that your mother created, you could even sell the book those of us that loved your place for so many years would be so awesome to carry on the food tradition of your family.

Just saw the news today on FB, hoping it was a rumor. The iconic Mexi-Casa is not coming back. My parents started coming to this restaurant in the 60's, when located at the original location (near freeway entrance). As a young girl, it was a Friday night treat with my family, then high school dates, eventually as an adult reliving her youth; even if it meant going to the Kettle location with that weird décor. Fifty years I have been a customer, and I am so sad to see you go. If you are from Anaheim, you know....Tom, thanks for the memories!

I STRONGLY disagree with all the bad reviews! Mexi Casa is delicious. Super cozy. Classic restaurant. Has NEVER made me sick in the years of visiting. Dope vintage decor. I adore this place and it holds a sincerely special spot in my heart , and in the heart of my family! Great service aswell! I would highly recommend this place to anybody! PLEASE REOPEN! WE MISS YOU MEXI - CASA!

We miss the Mexicasa restaurant,.,I have been coming since 1979 to Presently. I got merry and now my whole family use to come until closing because the pandemic. The Mexicasa Charism to serve the community has been the lasting heritage. Hope they open to continue the history of a good service.
Used to be one of my favorites to go with a large group of friends, it was good food at great prices. Owner should just be honest and say the are closing down or get an answering machine (probably to cheap to get one) and state when they will reopen if truly so!!. Not cool to say we will reopen SOON after over a year of saying that. Not expecting much different reply after waiting for a TRUE response. BE HONESTLY least!!!

this place will ALWAYS be my #1 place for mexican food. Been going here since i was a child. I am OBSESSED with their mild salsa, quesadillas, and tacos with shredded beef. I love this place more than words can describe. I haven't lived in California for over 10 years but whenever I come to southern California to visit family and friends, I always go out of my way to eat at Mexi-Casa. Now, how do I get the mild salsa recipe to hold me over until my next visit???
