Good food. Vegetarian dumplings are yummy. Enjoyed the mapo tofu as well. Nice family place to eat. Located in a shopping center with a few good shops. Flavors are good. The tofu vegetable soup does not have much flavor but it is still good.

We've been going to Ma's dumplings at least once a week since we discovered it buried in a strip mall next to UPS. We particularly like the appetizers: fried wontons (best ever), shrimp/beef dumplings, and main dishes sautéed shrimp, chicken with blacken sauce. The war wonton soup is amazing. The service is friendly, quick and efficient. We've made friends with the staff.

I ordered scrambled eggs with shrimps toda, 10/14/25. The scrambled eggs was overcooked and had very little shrimps. I paid about $18.00. No good.
Landed here to try something different out as my husband was in the mood for dumplings. He ordered the Lamb and Onion Dumplings, while I ordered the Salt & Pepper Shrimp. Both of us ordered the Shrimp Fried Rice to share. The Salt and Pepper Shrimp was absolutely fantastic, crunchy with just a slight kick of white and black pepper, with some sautee dried red chillies which you can choose to consume or not (I did - delicious!). Hubby said his lamb and onion dumplings were very comforting but could use a little
Salt and maybe a kick of spice. The STAR of the show was the Shrimp Fried Rice - it was sooooo super comforting and delicious. Simple, yet complex in its flavors. Absolutely LOVED the shrimp fried rice and would highly recommend. The jasmine iced tea in a bottle was floral and refreshing! I definitely wanted more!
The lady who was our server seemed to be doing everything but was still super sweet and got our food out as quickly as possible. Her service was impeccable despite being the only one there!
Lastly, it’s a small and cozy outfit but it’s super cute and interesting inside. One wall spans messages and art work from diners and the other (the wall we sat near) has a really cute mural painted on it.
Overall a fantastic experience, and would definitely come back for more!

Overall, Ma’s Dumpling House was just okay. I found their food decent, although their dumplings tasted a bit flat and the sautéed fish just average. Their lunch special pricing was fair, spending less than $15 for a hot and sour soup and entree. We also ordered the beef wonton soup, which was my favorite dish. It was light, yet flavorful. The ambiance was decent in the restaurant; however, their TV programming is quite loud. Overall, Ma’s is just okay, but worth a visit if you need an affordable lunch.

The food was good. I hadn't had the beef roll in ages, and jumped on the opportunity again. It was the best part of our order.
It might be a bit understaffed, but the staff is friendly.
They had kid plates that were subdivided, which was really fun for our toddlers.

I ate here July 25th. Ate the wonton in chili oil and the taste was unusually sour, bitter, metallic, or resembles the smell of paint or crayons. It left an acidic taste in my mouth that would go away for the next two hours. It was the worst taste I’ve ever had in my life.

Extremely hot in here, the male server was so cold and mean and didn’t answer any questions. He said they didn’t have HALF of what was offered on the menu. What kind of business does that?!

If you're looking for some of the best hole in the wall Chinese food in Orange County look no further! We love getting the juicy dumplings and a whole array of dishes that spans from stir fried green beans to honey walnut shrimp and everything is delicious.
Mary and everyone here are so attentive and we're always greeted with a smile everytime we come here.
10/10 amazing Chinese cuisine that's delicious and will never disappoint you.

I did a pick up order. Atmosphere looked nice. Guy behind the counter was nice. Food tasted great. A bit on the expensive side for this type of cuisine in the area. Juicy pork dumplings had no soup in them. But yeah everything tasted great.

This shop's been around for a minute and I had lunch with one of my best friends here and it's only gotten better with time.
We ordered some BBQ pork buns, juicy dumplings, shrimp fried rice, and Kung Pao Beef- it was delicious and one thing I'd like to point out was that it tasted light and fresh- even after finishing we didn't feel that "heavy" malaise that you get eating tons of greasy food. It was very well made and for the price we paid it was a FEAST in terms of portion sizes. I had to skip dinner, I'm still so full ahaha!
5/5 would recommend (also try the herbal iced tea you won't regret it).
The service was professional, prompt, and super friendly. The auntie running the joint was a sweetheart and really made us feel welcome but also had tact: my friend and I were having a great conversation and not once did they intrude or bother us, which is something I've come to appreciate from people in service. We also had a fun yet brief chat about Chinese medicine and now I'm craving ginger tea so I'm gonna wrap this unsolicited yapping and move on with my unsolicited review.
The ambience is exactly what you should expect from an OG authentic Chinese takeout shop- yet with a more refined overall vibe. The seats were comfortable, the air pleasant, the decorum fits the bill and had good lighting. Honestly not a bad spot for a chill date or catching up with friends. Most importantly it was CLEAN- no harsh smells from the kitchen, no sticky floors, tables wiped and polished to the point that you forget the place was busy with a group there right before you. It was a refreshing experience.
Tldr: food was fantastic for the price, service is excellent, facilities clean, pleasant, and comfortable. What more could you possibly want from such an establishment? Probably my favorite Chinese joint in all of OC.

Ma's Dumpling House is a cozy hole in the wall in the 99 Ranch plaza serving Chinese food. They may be a dumpling house, but the menu is extensive and includes more than you would think. In addition to pan-fried dumplings, we also got the onion pancake and sweet and sour fish. The fish came out first and it was my favorite thing that we got. I liked how gooey and starchy it was, and the sauce was very yummy. It's good with steamed white rice. The onion pancake was good, but not really to my preference. It was quite chewy and I usually prefer it flakier. The pan-fried dumplings were good too, and my sister really liked them. The service was friendly and attentive. The lady came and took our empty plates without us needing to ask. Overall, Ma's Dumpling house is a good local spot to scratch an itch for Chinese food.
Parking: There is plenty of parking available in the plaza.
