I was super excited to try a cute dessert place after dinner with my cousin. I walked in with a smile and was not greeted. I understand sometimes employees are busy but the older woman did not greet us or ask if we needed help. We were waiting for a while before a young girl asked if we were ready to order. I noticed someone else had the same experience and I should have done my research before patronizing an unfriendly environment. My sweet tooth quickly disappeared from the bad taste this place left.

The churros had a slight smell at first, but after eating them, they were edible. The taste wasn't as bad as I thought. I liked it because it wasn't as oily as other Mexican style churros.

I recently visited Mr. churro with high hopes for the churros but only to be met with disappointment due to its failure to adhere to its advertised open hours. I would avoid this business during the early business hours.

Churros are ok. I asked for light sugar but they had extra sugar instead. They are very dense and a little harder to chew, rubbery... versus soft and fluffy. They don't compare to Don Churros Gomez.

Last night was my first time trying Mr churro. I really liked it. I don't know exactly what I was expecting but honestly the food here was great. There's a lot of variety for people who want churros or want other desserts. They also have funnel cakes and milkshakes and ice cream. Overall for my first time I thought it was great. The churros were very crunchy and soft and moist all at the same time. Definitely a great texture to it. We ordered 10 churros total with the order with the strawberry dipping sauce as well as the caramel dipping sauce. I also ordered an original funnel cake with strawberry syrup and that was great as well. Definitely recommend eating the funnel cake right away because of the whipped cream on it. I waited probably about 20 minutes before eating the funnel cake because I was eating the churros and the entire middle of the funnel cake did get the flavor was still great and the edges were still crispy. I can only imagine if I ate it right away how crispy and perfect it would have been :-) but overall I am still super pleased with my first time here and I will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: Definitely no meat here. LolParking: The parking lot is very tight. The taco place next door is insanely delicious and so that place is always busy which takes up a lot of the parking lot.Kid-friendliness: This is a great place to bring kids. The portions are huge so definitely share if it's for any kid under 10 years old.

Pretty good churros with different flavors and varieties. They also have shakes, frappes, and funnel cakes. It can get pretty busy.

First time visiting Mr. Churro and I loved just one small detail. They should change the spoons for more double ones because the current ones are very fragile. But if you ask me if I would come again, of course I definitely loved it.

Tasty funnel cake, quick service, and decent seating inside with chill atmosphere. The location of the shop is a little strange, but parking was not an issue so I guess that's fine.

I wanted to give it a try, the line to order was a bit long no problem. I realized that they had one lady working, after waiting in line to order it took 45 minutes to get my order, almost had to wait longer as she was going to take more orders, many customers and myself were still waiting for orders. The churros were not good either but it is unfortunate for the price they are charging that they can’t provide a decent customer experience. Not worth the wait for over an hour.

The churros are amazing. Deep fried right in front of you, and they have multiple ice cream flavors to go along with. You can definitely share one order.

Overall if you're craving churros and ice cream, this will hit the spot. They have a huge menu with shakes and lattes, and even funnel cakes! This place was clean, not busy, and fully stocked on their menu items, where as other churro places may have long lines or run out of items due to high demand. We had an enjoyable visit, stop in and give them a try for yourself!

We had the original churros (5 ct. $7.50), premium funnel cake w/ horchata ice cream ($13.50), mangonada ($8.50) and a scoop of Mexican vanilla ice cream.1 star for food because the churros were way too doughy/dense. I drive through TJ and Mexicali once a month and was expecting something similar. I was very disappointed. Don churro (food trucks) have much better churros. The funnel cake wasn't what I expected either. I ended up coming here with my daughter after not being able to get funnel cakes from knotts. The batter was too hard and dense, not light and crispy like I was expecting. For $13.50, I can get the knotts funnel cake... too bad parking at knotts is annoying. The mangonada was way too sour. The only thing that was remotely good was the horchata ice cream.2 stars for service because, although the one lady that was working was nice, she is being over worked being at the store alone. There was a long wait, which we waited. The restroom was messy and out of soap. While we waited, 2 groups of people came, waited a few minutes and left without ordering.2 stars for atmosphere because the restroom needed attention and the seating is too close to the counter and pretty annoying eating with people in lines butts in your face.I really wanted this place to be good, as it is only 8 minutes away from my house, but the owner needs to work on the shop. Also, after skimming through the other reviews, I have to say the 5 star reviews must be friends or relatives that left positive reviews

The worst churros I have ever had in my life...they taste like pure flour fried with sugar.,,...neither with the lechera nor with the cajeta they tasted good

Being greeted at entrance is a very important role during customer service, it's a business open to public. I had a rude encounter while walking in and it was very overwhelming, smile at least don't walk away and talk under your breath. My bf walked in 4 mins later and got a rude response as well we had to eat in the car. It's the older lady, PM shift. The woman who took care of us didn't greet but at least she attended my family. Welcome people in like a home not walk away and look lazy
