First timer at Mdk Noodles in Anaheim. It's a little confusing finding the place since it's doesn't really have an official sign, and the place is tucked in the back of the shopping center. Lots of parking as well. Wasn't busy so we were seated promptly. Service and ambiance is decent but nothing special. Food and kimchi was great tho. We had the kalguksu soup, pan fried dumplings and pork bulgogi for 4 people. I wish the soup had more dumplings but it was still good, loved the noodles. The pan fried dumplings were great as well, and is more of an appetizer. My favorite by far was the pork bulgogi, which was huge and so savory! It comes with a side rice of rice but it was small, so we had to order more. For the price, it was kinda high at 28 however. Still a great place with great food, and the kimchi is free!

Ordered their knife cut noodle anchovy broth and pork dumplings and they were good. There are also plenty of parking spots and service was great and fast.

I stopped by this place on the way home from airport a couple of days ago. I had anchovy broth noodle and my wife had spicy noodle. Tasted good but not beyond my expectations. However, their shrimp/pork steamed dumplings were super good. Very well balanced flavor. White radish kimchi was really good too; perfectly sour and a bit of sweetness in it makes it just right. Service was good and helpful throughout. Very open floor plan. You walk in and you feel as though everyone checks out at you (most likely they won't even notice you in reality). It would be a very good stop if you go on rainy days.

I ordered a bibinangmyung and it was soupy. Not a shred of meat. Just half an egg for protein. Some hot soup was added and came in a plastic container that started to warp. I am not drinking this. It was close to $20 with tax which I thought was on the high side.

Portions are big. Go with 4 or more people to get more variety.Chicken kalguksu was comforting. Broth could have been hotter.Pan fried dumplings were good but nothing unfamiliar.White kimchi and red kimchi are excellent! Red kimchi is garlicky and funky(a great thing)

2024.01.21 \First visit/It was cold, and I wanted to find a bowl of hot noodles with my husband, so I came here.I like their kimchi, both spicy and non-spicy. The Korean spicy kimchi here is the most delicious, spiciest, most enjoyable and satisfying I have ever tasted in LA and OC. There are extra kimchi for sale that you can take home. I think I will come here to buy kimchi to keep in my refrigerator. We ordered a bowl of Knife Cut noodle in Chicken Broth. This bowl of noodles seemed ordinary, but it was actually very good. I really like it!The Pork Dumplings I ordered were a little disappointing because the dumplings would stick together, the skin would break easily, and the soup would drain away, which I felt was a pity. If you order it, it is recommended to add a little soy sauce to it. The soy sauce will bring out the rich flavor of the filling, which can add a lot of points to Dumplings.Overall, if I want a refreshing noodle soup, I will come here, and I will come back to try other noodle soups in the future, and take home kimchi!I like here! Looking forward to a return visit.

The bulgogi stone pot for $27 and $99 was expensive and not very good. Food prices have risen a lot these days! I understand, but it would have been nice if the service and quality had also been improved.
