The food was really off. Rice was hard and barely seasoned. Their yakitori is not yakitori, it is just a dry piece of chicken. Way too much wasabi on the scallop premium nigiri, to the point that it made us unable to taste the next couple pieces Service was really confusing and we had to ask a couple different servers in or to get what we wanted. A lot of the sides were not seasoned well such as the grilled oysters and the yakitori.

Great food. Very clean. Fresh fish. Great service. So glad we found this place!!! Can't wait to come back!

Word of advice to the establishment, if you want your business to be successful you should prepare accordingly for business dinner service nights. I am echoing the other reviews. I enjoyed the food that we ordered, but I did not anticipate to wait 40 mins with only miso soup order and my hot tea. Our first round trickles in about 40 min. We immediately put in our second order understanding they are backed up with orders with a full house. Received second round 30 min later. Received one wrong order, then another extra order of something else due to unorganization. I hope this issue gets addressed because the restaurant has potential. We probably won't be back anytime soon.

AYCE sushi! Mon-Fri till 2pm lunch price $32.98 After 2pm & weekends dinner price $38.98 Dinner price includes some premium items such as oysters, sashimi, etc but only one order per person. Hot appetizers were pretty good. Nice selection of special rolls. I like how some of rolls only come with 2 pieces but you can order more next round if you want. They also took some half roll requests so you can get 4 pieces instead of 8 for some rolls. They allowed my significant other to not get AYCE since he doesn't like sushi & allowed me to get it. Overall, pleasant experience. Nice sushi and not too busy on a Friday late afternoon.

Went yesterday with friends. Parking was ample. Was greeted upon entry, and sat down at a table. Took a while to get our drink order, and beverage service was slow; one time a server refilled a friend's cup and slammed the cup down onto the table creating a not unnoticed splash of the contents onto the table. Empty cups were not uncommon for the night. We ordered AYCE for the table. The food service was even slower, taking more than an hour for most of the first round to come to the table. Once we complained, food service was faster but buy then we were there an hour before the closed. Eventually all the food came out, but with the wait our hunger was not as significant. That's one was to ensure that a restaurant makes a profit selling an AYCE option. When the food did come out the quality was not bad. One thing to give them is that they did not limit the amount of Unagi/Eel nigiri that one could order. As for the setting of the restaurant, pretty standard affair. Elevated sushi bar, seats and table elsewhere. No loud music, just lots of table waiting for their food to slowly come out. Come if you have hours to burn, but don't come starving otherwise your needs won't be fulfilled in a timely manner.

This is our first time here, we glad we try this AYCE sushi place, everything was delicious, sushi was fresh, rolls with a lots of selection, I love no rice roll, also the appetizer from kitchen was tasting good, service was attentive and friendly, I can see they were pretty busy night, we will definitely come back!

Food was great, sushi are always fresh, sushi rice is smaller than other AYCE place, carpaccio is my flavor, place looks clean and feel like a nice family hang out dinner place, this is our second time back to this place, server always friendly and attentive, it was busy Friday night, we did wait for little longer than usual but it worth!

I waited for one hour here for my first item to come out and there was only 4 other tables seated. That was actually my worst experience at a restaraunt. They didn't check up or offer anything in between either. Just avoided eye contact.

0/10 horrible horrible horrible. Waited over an hour for appetizers and one order of sushi. IF YOU ARE UNDER STAFFED JUST SAY That. Cheap ass owners

Will never come to this place again. Horrible service, not really all you can eat because they still give you limits on how much you can order and the staff is not trained. We got charged $3 for asking for an extra slice of lemon. Save your money and go somewhere else.

The sushi was just ok, servers were inattentive, and our hot sake was room temperature.

Coming into the restaurant we were quickly seated, which was great, but the hostess was not very friendly. Our table was completely clear, no settings, no dishes, and it was still wet. Nobody came to take our drink order for about 5 minutes which was alright. But a little upsetting. The miss soup was bland as well. Don't be surprised by the incredibly small appetizer portion size. We ordered the calamari appetizer and there were literally 2 pieces. The servers barely ever checked up on us and we had to repeatedly call them over so we could order our next round since they kept the paper. It's obviously a new restaurant so lot of these problems will probably be resolved in the future. The sushi itself was amazing though. The atmosphere is serene and comfortable. I would definitely come here again, but not until they get over the kinks of being a newly established restaurant

I finally decided to stop by here after dinner yesterday, after finding out about this place not too long ago as I noticed it pop up in one of the areas I pass by during my work commute. Long story short, my experience was amazing and I will definitely be coming back in the future + considering this place to be in my top 3 of AYCE spots! The servers and even the sushi chefs were incredibly friendly, making me truly feel welcomed as they were always on top of getting my orders out. The sushi is by no means on par with anything you'd get at an omakase, but for AYCE standards-- it definitely gave other places I've been to a run for their money. Furthermore, I thought the lunch & dinner prices were set reasonably well for the quality and the overall environment of the place was spacious and cool to take in. All in all, I would seriously recommend everyone stop by here at least once for lunch or dinner-- they're a new spot in town that deserves all the business that comes their way!

I have eaten at a lot of sushi restaurants, but the quality and variety of food at Niku Sushi was outstanding. It's a new restaurant in Anaheim and I wasn't disappointed. I had the Salmon Teriyaki lunch special, which came with miso soup and a salad with a wonderful ginger dressing. The salmon was fresh and the rice cooked the way I like it.I also ordered the Volcano Roll which was out of this world. The flavors complemented each other perfectly.I also judge a restaurant on cleanliness, and this restaurant doesn't cut any corners. The front of the house was spotless, including the Sushi bar.

Love this new place. The sushi looked & tasted fresh ! Where I live at in Central Coast which has terrible food regrets. This is probably the best sushi place I've eaten in many years.
