I was in the area running errand and had a craving for Vietnamese sandwich so I yelped and found this place. The rating were a little off. In my opinion, I'm surprised it didn't get a solid 5 star! I'm Vietnamese American and I love me some viet food! This place did not disappoint. When I took my first bite, I realized I made a mistake and only order two sandwich. It was to late by then because I was on the road back to the IE. My only regret was that I didn't buy more. The sandwiches had a unique taste of their own stacked with goodness. The bread, variety of Vietnamese hams, pickled carrots, fried eggs and everything was evenly balanced. It's hard to explain, but I promise you will not be disappointed. Plus, the staff are super sweet and thoughtful. I bought an ice coffee and the lady helping me remember I was with my wife and brought us two straws. Asian people and good service typical don't go well together so I was super shocked! Do yourself a favor when you're hungry and try this place out! You will love it!

I haven't tried anything else except their #22 and it's already my 7th time visiting this establishment. It's a half a chicken with rice and an option of either soup or salad. The chicken is absolutely delicious, it's not dry or oily, and it's clean. The lady who owns the establishment is super nice and I can't recommend this place enough if you're feeling like chicken or any sort of Vietnamese food.

I walked in and the first thing I heard was "HIIIII WELCOMEEEEEE". The lady worker was so friendly and patient when I was staring at the menu for five minutes. She also gave me an egg roll on the house while I waited for my order to be done. Lemongrass pork banh mi - the bread wasn't as toasted but that made it easier to bite into. The pork was very flavorful and i couldn't help but think it would be great as a rice dish. They went heavy on the hoisin sauce so at times, that's all I could taste but that's an easy request to leave out next time. Interior was so cute and cozy. I liked how there was a rack of recyclables by the trash can.

I have to admit, the place looks kind of small and old-fashioned but upon walking in, the lady that greeted me was extremely nice. Told her it was my first time and she gave me some suggestions based on meat preference. I ordered the #14 + egg, and the banh mi is definitely solid! I'm not sure if I'd go out of my way to come here but definitely if you are in the area, the price point and sandwich quality is well worth it.

Wow! Just wow, these guys r great, I can't see them not expanding soon. Their food is just incredible, it tastes the way food should. Don't be put off by location or looks. This is like the seemingly lowly, unwanted stepchild, and on your deathbed they are the only one there, paying your retirement home bills and lovingly feeding you a mind bending roasted chicken banh mi. These guys are definitely family to those wanting an authentic "sandwich made by mom" experience, it's that good. Oh yes, and they also have fresh eggs, whole chickens aaand if you happen to be next door doing your laundry, they have handy dandy... laundry detergent! (the restaurant, not your unwanted stepchild). They really do have it all (also the restaurant). Ps. Try a fried egg on it (rest.).

Very friendly guy at the front took my order. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast here while getting my car washed on a Saturday morning. Pork had a nice tangy flavor. It included a generous portion along with the eggs. Definitely recommend this place if you want some authentic Thai food while getting car washed or before going to Disneyland.

Seriously, the best Vietnamese food I have ever had. We had the lemongrass steak and rotisserie chicken Bahn-mi and an order of the spring rolls. You can tell this place takes pride in their food and doesn't skimp on ingredients. The lady running the counter is super sweet and friendly. And it's affordable!! I would highly recommend.

First time here and I'm glad I found this place conveniently close to my work. Had the Sweet BBQ Pork Bahn Mi with extra veggies. Just the right amount of heat from the jalapeí±o and sweet from the pork. Extra veggies gave it the perfect crunch. Bread was toasted but still soft and light. Making this a regular thing for sure

The service was excellent! The food was good. The elderly Viet couple were so sweet. I spoke to her in Vietnamese but she also spoke and understood English well. I waited for my order to be freshly prepared and she gave me a complimentary eggroll while I waited. I ordered the #14 Combo (dac biet), 2 Char siu banh mi, and the rotisserie banh mi The mayo doesnt taste like traditional Vietnamese mayo, but it's still good. The veggies are SUPER fresh and the pickled daikon and carrots had a great crunch to them. With so many Banh Mi places to choose from, I'm glad to have tried this place out since it's not too far from my office. It's not the "best" banh mi I have had, but I'll definitely be back. Next time, I want to try their entree dishes like the bo kho.

This is a little hole in the wall that is also a small market. The bahn mi sandwich I had was full of flavor and unique because I had the option to add egg. I have tasted the lemongrass chicken and spam. All were good

This place is a prime example for a hole in the wall. Their banh mi is the absolute best. Highly recommend their chicken and lemon grass steak banh mi!

Was in the area for the weekend and we really wanted to pick up some Vietnamese sandwiches for the road. What made me give this place a try was their pineapple spam banh mi! It was really good but wish the bread was more toasted and I really wanted pate in it too but the owner said it won't be good.

Thue and her husband own and run this small but clean restaurant. We had never been before today but were immediately welcomed! I had the number 15 banh mi with their house made hams and pate. My hubby had the number 4 pork char su and both were delicious and fresh! The sauce on the pork was very good and their fresh pate is mild and tasty. We don't live in the area but we'll drive back there for these tasty sandwiches!
