I enjoyed coming to this bakery. Roughly waited about 10-15 minutes in line, but it’s all worth it! I ordered the original sunrise and salt bread, definitely salt bread for the win. If you have a furry friend, they offer dog treats as well which my dog loved! I also tried their limited time seasonal pumpkin drink and it was delicious. The shop itself is super cute and staff were extremely welcoming and kind!

Def try to get here early when they open. We arrived around 1030/11a and there was a long line . I think it took about 20 min to order the breads. Once you get to the cashier to pay for your bread, they’ll ask if you want a drink too, which you’ll pay for at the same time. But you’ll have to wait additionally for the drink to be made. I think we waited another 20 min or so for it to be ready.

There’s outdoor seating but not a lot of umbrellas to protect you from sun so we took our food to a nearby seating area that had huge umbrellas.

The breads were so good and soft. They had run out of a few things I wanted to try (plain salt butter roll and curry pan) and I didn’t wanna wait 20+ min for a fresh batch. Next time !

The breads we ordered were : japanini, matcha mochi red bean bun, everything seasoning salt butter roll, cookie salt butter roll, sunrise, matcha sunrise, honey croissant and cinnamon roll. Everything very good ! Comes in a cute box too

Their drinks were nothing special. We got the seasonal pumpkin latte and regular matcha latte. I didn’t realize the matcha latte would be sweetened - I think it was some sort of vanilla syrup (it reminded me of vanilla bean ice cream slightly). I couldn’t taste ANY matcha. Bc their drinks weren’t impressive, I would skip the additional ~20 min wait.

Their merch was super cute.

You might have to wait a bit, but totally worth it! The bread is super soft and so good. Only downside — it doesn’t taste the same the next day, so make sure to eat it fresh! The drinks were all pretty good too.

I ordered the milk cream bears, the salt and butter roll, and the strawberry milk cream crossiant. They were all so delicious and phenomenal. The staff was very nice and the price was not too expensive. The place was clean but it was a bit small for many customers. I loved all the baked goods I got because it said that they got all their ingredients imported from Hokkaido, Japan. One more thing, I got a banana cremé matcha drink and it was the best matcha drink I'd ever had

It was fine for my needs. Pretty standard but good.

Delicious fluffy breads, but on the costlier side. Worth a try, but probably won't repeat for the price. They were also out of the seasonal drink that was being heavily promoted on multiple signage.

I will start by saying you can absolutely taste how fresh the pastries are and how clean the ingredients are. The flour used to make the pastries is phenomenally high grade and it is reflective in the texture and taste of the pastries.

I tried three pastries- the signature salt and butter roll, the smore danish, and one of the vanilla bean cream filled. All I could taste was flour. I didn’t need it to be sweet, but I really couldn’t detect any other flavor than the flour. The salt and butter roll was also wet in the middle, but not doughy? I really don’t know how to describe it, but the texture was odd. I also thought the cream was broke in the cream filled as it was grainy and edging toward butter.

Maybe I just went on an off day, but I wouldn’t rush back. Also- they have a sign that said “ask for a box with six or more pastries.” I ordered four and asked for a box and they wouldn’t give me one because I had to order six. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I wasn’t going to argue over a box, but I didn’t want to carry four separate plastic boxes.

Such a cute and delightful bakery! I really enjoyed their vanilla bean custard-filled Kobo Kuma pastry, and the salt and butter roll was delicious. Also their iced lattes were so good!

First time there. Food was good but the girl helping us isn’t a good listener. Told her my niece wanted a different cartoon character bun and she ignored. I repeated n she was distracted looking elsewhere n again didn’t hear me. She just grabbed the strange looking character. If we can’t choose the exact buns that’s fine with us. All she had to do was say it. She was just not paying attention much. Then I told her the next item I wanted and she was looking confused bc again not paying attention . I was a bit annoyed n just pointed and waited for her to actually get closer n see. I wanted to get more pastries but I was just annoyed n embarrassed bc the people behind me saw her being distracted and not paying attention. Other than that, the pastries were soft and good but the service could use some work

Bread is delicious. Big fan of their Japanese style toast. Very fluffy, naturally sweet. Tastes great just toasting with butter. Is the best Japanese style milk toast in Orange County imo. You can get one or half loaf and ask the staff to cut to your desired thickness (only on weekdays). The curry pan and salt and butter rolls are both must tries. The sweet breads (strawberry croissant/kuma kobo (vanilla custard filled bread)/surnrise (crispy sweet top) are all pretty good as well. Drinks are all pretty nice. Special flavors and not too sweet. Staffs are all super friendly and helpful. There are limited seats outside the store.
The line gets really long on weekends. Saturday typically takes around an hour to get in. If ordering drink only, you can go in from the side door and order directly and the drink counter without queuing. I queued for 1hour after arriving at 9:30. Other customers mentioned that there were around 10 people waiting at 8 when the store is open. There is typically no wait when I visited on weekdays.
Hope this information helps whoever plans to come on weekend.

My favorite cafe in anaheim!! Got their banana creme matcha latte, salt bread and spicy curry pan, and it was delicious. For the drinks, they use actual banana pieces (instead of artificial flavoring) for the cream and the matcha is perfectly strong. The highlight tho is the spicy curry pan. So so delicious. It’s crispy on the outside, the dough is soft and bouncy and the curry is fragrant with a little spice kick. Can’t wait to go back here again :)
