Service is great, wonderful to visit with the characters, food is awesome as usual. Just wish they hadn't gotten rid of the whipping cream. I remember coming years ago and you could put whipped cream on top of your waffles. Like some other things that are missing from the park lately -- used to be able to buy really good fudge at the park. I heard it's only available at Knot's Berry Farm now?
We've been coming here for years!! It just so happened to be Fried Chicken Day when we were here and they do have the BEST fried chicken! Portions are ginormous! Salads are always fresh and their Thousand Island dressing is amazing!! I always say I'll try something different on the menu, but always end up with the chicken as to not miss out!! There's always a lot of seating available. If you time it just right, you can watch a parade stroll by as you eat. Perfect...
We went to the Plaza Inn for the character experience. Our reservation was at 8 and we showed up at 7:45. All the doors were open but there was no one around. Finally, someone came out and showed us where to go. Then, workers came out and were all flustered. It took like 10 minutes of them getting situated for us to finally check-in. The characters were so much fun and made it worth it. The food wasnt great. The only thing I really enjoyed was the bananas foster french toast....
