Staff was very dismissive and rude to basic requests. Would recommend to avoid if you don’t “fit their vibe” if you know what I mean.

Our family loves our Anaheim Hills location! Everything is always consistently great from fresh quality of food, detail of service, clean, and nice ambiance. Twice now this had happened where I'm talking to my friend as we're eating, and I mentioned something I'm about to ask our server for, and 30 seconds later one of the busboy guys is handling me just that!! Same guy every time! Thus tells me, even though he's constantly moving, cleaning, he has awareness, and just cares. Its not his job to do what he did, serving, but he did it anyways because he knows it's still great customer service. I will get his name next time I dine in, and put it on here. Thank you again to this man!! We will come back again and again!

Fast casual brunch spot with pretty good food and service. Parking is easy if you utilize the BevMo side of the plaza. Nice patio seating where you can bring your dog
Food/Drink- 4.5 stars
Everything was pretty solid. Food was excellent. Drinks were fresh
-pork chop with pomegranate sauce- pretty good and you can taste the higher quality of ingredients. Cooked perfectly
-pancakes with ricotta and blueberries- this was good, but it would've been better if they mixed the ricotta into the batter
-strawberry lemonade- freshly squeezed, delicious and not too sweet
-matcha strawberry latte- this was ok. It tasted like the Costco matcha powder with strawberry jam thrown in
Service- 4.5 stars
Food came out pretty quickly. They did seem a bit understaffed at the tables, as you had to fetch a server for any drinks. And there were a good amount of tables that were unavailable since there weren't enough bussers to clean out the tables to accommodate the weekend rush
Bottom Line
Really solid brunch spot that I'll be visiting on the regular

Wanted to try a new place to have girls brunch and this place looked so cute so we decided to give it a try!
Pros: Seating was very quick for a Saturday brunch spot and service was great! Coffee and craft drinks were EXCELLENT !
Cons: The food was highly disappointing, we both tried different items (brunch burrito and poached eggs) and both of us left there disappointed at the lack luster food.

Bottom Line Up Front:
Poached Kitchen has everything you would want in a cool breakfast spot, from the menu and decor to the service and aesthetics -- everything except the delicious food.
The Food:
Let me explain. It's not bad. But it's not as delicious as I had hoped, given the premium prices. My wife and I ordered the chicken and waffles, smash burger with fries, and a side of bacon.
The chicken was lightly breaded when I prefer it to be crispy while the meat was pretty dry. It was average at best. My wife's burger was OK; again, not bad but nothing to write home about. The fries lacked the seasoning and crispness that I expect from an American-style diner. Sadly, the bacon wasn't crunchy at all and a little on the chewy side. The only thing that was genuinely delicious was the waffles -- light, airy, and just a hint of sweetness.
The Service:
The entire staff was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. Excellent training by the management.
The Overvalued Setup:
Another reason for my good-but-not-great rating is that this is a fast-casual restaurant. You walk up and order at the front counter like a fast-food joint but you wait to be seated and they bring the dishes out to you. However, you don't get a dedicated server so no one will attend to you and you'll need to flag someone down for help. Nothing wrong with that, per se ... except that the meal prices are as high as sit-down full-service restaurants.
The Location:
It's located at the corner of Imperial Highway and Santa Ana Canyon Road, tucked inside a shopping complex with a poorly designed parking lot. (It's beside the Bev Mo.) Parking can be difficult to find during peak hours.
Inside, the place is clean and well organized, with comfortable chairs. The bathroom has a shared sink space in the open, while individual toilets are behind fully closed doors. That's a convenient set up if you just want to wash your hands.
The Conclusion:
I really wanted to love this place but was disappointed by the average-tasting food sold for above average prices in a fast-casual setting -- definitely less bang for the buck. Will I try it again? Possibly, to try the other menu items in hopes this was just an off day for the cook.

Excellent. I always get the chilaquilles with green sauce. Always delicious and their coffee can rival Starbucks.

The food was great and the service was very fast. However, they didn’t offer many vegetarian or vegan options, and the limited choices they did have weren’t clearly known by all staff members. They did provide vegan milk alternatives, and for food there was oatmeal with fruit, which could be made vegan by opting out of the honey and choosing maple syrup on the side.

I tried calling in to make an order but they don't pick up the phone you can only speak to a robot. The only way to order is through signing up with a phone number. I don't want to make another account just to order some eggs. Thank you very much!

Worst chilaquiles ever no flavor ,no spice , taste like a generic salsa out the can was used . They weren’t even crispy like they’re supposed to be . Don’t waste your time getting these . Worst part was my eggs weren’t even over easy .

Love this place! I go here monthly with ladies from my neighborhood during the week. First time on a Saturday today. My friend treated me to breakfast for my birthday. My favorite is the avocado toast.
I want to thank your staff for how you handled a mix up that I thought was due to a couple who said their table was #9. I had already sat down and said the text I received said my friend and my table was #9. It took longer than usual to get our order due to it and all along the staff was very polite. In hind sight I am so glad I kept upbeat as when I got in my car to leave I noticed I had received a text and before I deleted the text from Poached I re-read it and our table was actually #7 and there was instructions to hit 9 if you want to cancel. Totally my mistake for not reading the text fully. So sorry for the inconvenience to your staff and the young couple whose table I took. 😯 Lesson learned.
