We had heard good things about this place that opened up with the new San Fran Sokyo area so we wanted to try it out. This place does have mobile order (which I highly recommend), but the times get taken up fast so choose your slot right now for the future so you can get a time when you know you will be over there. When we got over there the next time was 45 minutes out, so we got in the line to order in person. This line was NOT moving AT ALL. So we chose the mobile order time and went and checked out some other things and came back. When we came back we walked right up to the mobile order window and got our food instantly, a time saver. However we did eat at peak lunch time with all of the other food places around in this area. Although there is a HUGE area to sit, every single table was taken and you kind of have to wait around for someone to get up, so I would avoid peak time if you can. We did eventually find a table in the sun since that was all that was coming available. It is a very busy area. We ordered the Birria ramen, the dumplings, and the Baymax macaron. The macaron was honestly the best thing here and one of the best macarons we tried throughout Disneyland. It was creamy and had hints of Nutella in it and was perfect. The Ramen was okay but could use more flavor. We honestly had an amazing ramen over at Trader sam’s tiki bar at the Disneyland hotel. The dumplings were literally just fried wontons. They were adequate and hit the spot. Overall for theme park food, this Asian style place is actually quite decent. I think if we came back we would try another food place in that area or try some other dishes.

Pretty busy place, but nice food. Had mobile ordering pickup at counter but we just walked up and got served pretty much straight away at the counter without pre-ordering. Got a sandwich/burger-style meal and a soup/chowder meal, and both were lovely. Situated by the very large outdoor dining area with hundreds of tables, but this was still pretty congested at lunchtime so would suggest dining here a little outside of 'normal' eat times. Nice food though, and got a free sugar cookie when the staff member saw my partner's 'first visit' badge (cookie was yum too!). Overall, I'd eat here again, but would time my dining a bit differently.

It was a long wait for our food, even with mobile ordering. We got the Yaki Udon with chicken and the Pork Wonton Nachos. Both were good. The udon was flavorful with a nice balance of ingredients. The nachos were a bit unbalanced and the chips were greasy, but the bites where you got all the ingredients were great.

The new Sanfransokyo menu is amazing! I had the Beef Birria Ramen and the Big Hero 6 Macaron. Both delicious. But the winner was the Lychee Strawberry cocktail. Refreshing and with a little kick

We ordered the kid's Impossible Banh Mi for a snack. Lucky Fortune Cookery opens at 11am so we had to time our food pick up from other food stalls in Pacific Wharf so we would get all the food around the same time. For $7.99, you get about 1/2 a Banh Mi and some rice and vegetables. The Impossible meat was a bit sweet for our taste so we thought it was ok. The vegetables were pretty bland (seemed steamed/boiled). I am glad they have a plant-based option though.

I went to ask them for a cup of ice water because we had someone with us that needed to take some medication. They are unable to take it with soda so we did not want to buy one. Everywhere else we've gone has gladly given us a small cup of ice water for free. And I would have been more than happy to buy one. But the snooty lady at the cash register told me that they were out of ice. So I told her that I would just take water. And then she told me that she just turned her water off. But yet they were still selling dinner. Horrible!

Besides the quick service there wasn’t much else very rewarding about this option to get food from, the food was bland and unappetizing. At Disney I expect to overpay l, but I somewhat expect some decent food which was not the case for this location.

Name is a bit deceiving but their food is not. The sandwiches were good but much to my delight is their ramen that is close to if not authentic. We got to enjoy our food sitting by the pseudo Monterey cannery row ambiance. The waiting area was beautifully lit with lanterns emitting a fine glow at dusk. Their was a dish mistakenly added to our order which they promptly corrected .

Lucky Fortune Cookery is located on the Pacific Wharf in California Adventure. It is a counter service, take out eating spot with community picnic tables outside that are shared with other food vendors on the Wharf. It is located across from the Pacific Wharf Cafe and Boudin Bakery tour. They have changed their menu and now offer items for those who have dietary restrictions... We tried the Bulgogi Wrap with Garlic Shrimp Chips... it was OK. The Chicken Teriyaki With Steamed Rice and Veggies was average. If you enjoy Panda Express, you may want to give this spot a try... it is more of a change of pace from the normal park offerings, not really outstanding.

Excellent foods here, I just wish they had a bit more selection. The wings were particularly good. Location is convenient, outdoor dining only but it is under cover mostly.

We went to one of our favorite restaurants at California Adventure. We had been ordering the rice bowls for many years. I jokingly referred to the Spicy Korean as great way to clear sinuses. Had heard menu had changed so thought We’d give it a try. I ordered the vegan Banh Mi. Not a fan of veggie food imitating meat however I’d had worse. Loved the lemongrass cucumber salad. I would try again but maybe a once a year try rather than monthly tofu rice bowl with its wonderful sauces. My daughter had the Beef Bulgogi Wrap. She said there was no flavor. Thought the garlic chips were good. Left 3/4 of it and said she might try the Ramen next time. Bring back the bowls!

We had the Teriyaki Chicken with rice and veggies. Very fast service and the food was delicious! This is an outdoor order, pick-up, and then find a seat kind of place.

Very good for Disney food, glad we stopped. My wife and I both had Teriyaki Chicken. Would have been nice to have a little more variety with the vegetables, but still good.

I loved dinning at the Lucky Fortune, I’m an AP and I eat there all the time but my last visit was disappointing as I came across a change of menus. It’s very limited and not as customizable as it used to be. I’m a vegetarian so there was only a salad available for me and it was incredibly disappointing. There used to be 20 min lines every time I went to eat here, however my last visit I noticed there was only one person in line and three lines open to order. I’m sure many have been disappointed by the new changes because we all loved the great food they used to offer, it was savory, customizable, & filling for a great Disney price. I ended up having a sad slice of cheese pizza that day. Hope they change it back to its previous menu.

I loved the Orange Chicken here, as did my family and friends, but they just changed the menu this week (8/15/2019) and it’s gone. The Teriyaki Chicken they have does not measure up, and you can no longer order it without vegetables. They must just be using pre-made batches now. Won’t be eating here any longer. Sad.
