Today I went to this restaurant, I ordered a #1 breakfast that includes a pupusa which they only served the sauce and the curtido where it was left was my question I think it is the only place that serves you a pupusa without its curtido they never asked me if I liked more coffee or if I was offered something else and then to finish at the time of paying there was a boy who when it was my turn he turned around and left me there like a stupid and then the waiter passed by and he had to charge me and the It's busy, the truth is, bad service
FIRST AND LAST TIME I visit that place

Sir, owner of the restaurant, hire more staff in your kitchen. It's sad to wait 30 minutes for two corn atoles. I think they make them instantly. Maybe it's terrible to wait for something. It's pointless. Take advice because buyers are going to run away.

I honestly know that everything is expensive. But $19 for two eggs, beans, cream, cheese, I think there are better places with better food, but hey, if you like to give money away, you know where to go haha. With that price I'm not even interested in knowing how much good drinks or dishes cost.

We came here for pupusas, and truthfully, I have had better.
They look like they have a great menu and have many Salvadorian goodies for sale too.
We might come back to try something else, but for pupusas, try Sivar Treats in Whittier.

I passed on some cookies that my wife likes $8 okay perfect. My child craves some snow and they charge me $9 dollars for only 2 scoops of ice cream. What a scam, they don't even resell it like that at Baskin Robbin's anymore. Last time I shop there.

Honestly, the food is below mediocre for being a Salvadoran restaurant. My wife and I ordered the pupusas to try out the place. It had been sometime since it used to be El Carbonero years before. The pupusas we ordered were Queso con Loroco, Chicharron con Queso, and Ayote. The masa was under cooked and the chicharrón did not taste authentic. For many that may not know, most places add bread to the chicharrón as a filler to reduce their costs. This in turn alters the flavor and product outcome. The refresco de maracuya tasted like a kool-aid mix instead of containing real fruit or concentrated extract. The menu items are over priced even in this inflation economic situation. The only reason we gave service a 3 stars was because the servers were all well dressed, groomed, and respectful. The place was clean and well kept, but I will not recommend this location to dine in. Your money and business is well deserved elsewhere. For this in Anaheim is a joke...sorry. just being honest.

Hello, I love this restaurant, I live far from Hay... but my daughter loves Las pupusas. And we have been buying Hay for years. Since before the remodeling... but yesterday I went and it seemed distasteful to me that there was a dog inside the place. and it wasn't even a guide dog. It was actually SO unpleasant. I brought the food.

Overpriced low quality food.
The beans tasted spoiled, the tamal con pollo was a little sour, and the hot chocolate "salvadoreño" was low quality powder cocoa, and it was served cold
The service was ok.
Overall was a bad experience
