Lunch specials are a great deal. Chicken fajitas and taco enchilada are my faves. I've grown up on this food.

I have been going here for 50 years. It's the best. The food is great. The servers are awesome. You can't go wrong.

Take out order, unfortunately the person who packed my order failed to realize my 28.00 Ultimate Fajitas and my 27.00 Shrimp Fajitas had no rice or beans with the order!
I called to complain about this, and the young lady thought a 10.00 gift card would make up for a less than satisfying 70.00 dinner!

EXCELLENT πŸ‘ EXCELLENT πŸ‘ EXCELLENT πŸ‘
My daughter and I recently moved to Yorba Linda.
We were out running errands last week, hungry for Mexican food, decided to stop here.
We used to live in Anaheim Hills years ago, when this was a different restaurant.
We were very pleasantly surprised. We were seated, waiter came to our booth with a huge basket of thick freshly fried tortilla chips and fresh salsa.
They had a special lunch menu, each combination was $11.99.
I ordered a Cadillac marguerita which was very good, could actually taste the liquor in it. Not weak.
We each ordered the combo of crispy string beef taco, chicken enchilada, which came with rice and beans.
Within a short time, the waiter brought out two large platter style plates which were steaming hot.
Crispy taco was large, alot of string beef.
The enchilada has big chunks of chicken, cheese.
Large portion of rice and beans too.
Probably the best Mexican food and drinks I have had in a long time.
It was outstanding and I cannot wait to go again.
As I am writing this review, I will go there today.
My daughter and I only spent $45.00 for a Cadillac marguerita, coke, chips, salsa, 2 large platters of food.
It was so good, we ate everything.
OUTSTANDING! KUDOS TO MANAGER AND CHEFS AND SERVERS.

When the server has spring in his steps, a ready to share big smile on his face, and sincere communication with his customers, you can bet everything else is just as excellent

Been coming here since the 80's when it was Don Jose. A lot of the same great food, but some new options as well.
I generally get the giant nachos and share it with a friend, the tostada salad, or I get the ultimate burrito and have a few meals from it.
Great happy hour

My favorite place of all times the best is their grilled chicken nachos with grilled jalapeΓ±os , garden salad with ranch and the 2 hard shell taco place with beans only , they are the best

Great fish tacos and staff?

Food was average, shredded beef tasteless, same in tacos as well as taquitos. Shrimp tacos decent, good chips. Friendly servers, atmosphere dark and dismal with dimmed yellow lighting and old furniture.

Originally gave 3 stars, but arriving home 15 minutes after eating the fish tacos my son threw up all of his dinner, he said the fish wasn’t fresh tasting.

It's been a long time since I've had good, traditional Mexican food, since moving away from having spent my entire life on the west coast up until about 7 years ago. So we decided to try Rodrigo's Mexican Grill, after seeing it more than 100 times getting off the 91 Fwy at Imperial Hwy. (it's just to the right of the offramp when exiting the 91 EB).

Service was great, people were warm, friendly and attentive. And the food was very good. Traditional dishes, like enchiladas with Mexican rice and refried beans and cheese. Great, fresh quality, with excellent, bold flavors. They even have traditional albondigas soup, which I've missed for decades (so hard to find places that serve it).

The chips/salsa were also very good. My personal preference are the very thin tortillas, served hot. These were not quite that, but were still good. And the salsa was fresh and tasty, with the right bite to it. Overall, the meal was very good. Not sure what it would've taken to get me to a full 5 stars on the food... it was all very good, but maybe if they had my favorite, oiled, super thin tortillas chips? :) But make no mistake about it, I'd definitely eat here again... just wish I'd gone in years ago after passing by so many times.
