Run by a lovely family, this hidden gem offers delicious sushi and Japanese plates at more than fair prices! Since it's a hidden gem, I also appreciate the family and their kindness to let me practice mandarin with them (they're trilingual or more!). ?My personal favorites are the Poki salad, the jalapeño bomb, the Mexican roll and the baked crab. So many great dishes they offer that I still am craving to try! I'm a regular here and they always make me feel welcome...
It's a good place, they have decent sushi and decent prices and I've been here multiple times because of it but they also make it feel weird a lot of the times I've been here. Like, the workers there don't like me being there even when the restaurant is empty, it just feels like I'm being a nuisance to them and it started to make me not want to go there as often as I did before. Also, one time I saw the chef in the back push whatever he put in the trash...
I celebrated my birthday today in this great place. happy to tell that we enjoyed a wonderful evening and the place was indeed the reason for the outstanding evening. The crew cooperated in a sweet way, the cooking was delicious and my buddies were extremely delighted. We shall surely visit again for more events. thanks very much.
