This is one of the classiest diners I have experienced. The atmosphere provides you with that classic diner experience, and all the servers wear clothing to enhance the experience. The food was also very good but I haven't had bad food in LA. If you want a great ambience, go here!Kid-friendliness: The have a free kids meal at certain times.

Check your takeout. Unfortunately we got back to our hotel and discovered missing French fries. Not the end of the world, but for the avg. price of 20 bucks a meal they need to do better.

Tried this place for lunch after ditching Broken Yolk Cafe’s 1.5 hour wait! The sandwiches were definitely the highlight. French fries were basic out of the freezer, nothing special. I ordered sweet potato fries and think there was an issue with the oil because they had a WD-40 type of smell and after taste. The waitress quickly addressed it and brought a basket of fresh ones!

We live nearby, and always like to spend money in the neighborhood. But when you takeout from ol' Ruby, there's a good chance you'll be driving back for something they forgot. Our last three orders from there were ordered direct over the phone, said ready in 20 mins, which always is 30-40. Each time, a shake is missing, a burger, or some major component of a meal...and for a $16 mid burger, undercooked fries that are now cold from driving back to get the rest of your order, and no customer service from a complained-to manager, buyer beware.

Got food to go from here, and the oil tastes days old or reused. It made me and my boyfriend feel awful and sick. The impossible patty also tasted and smelled so meaty it had to have been cooked on a dirty grill. I do not recommend.Vegetarian options: Don't get the impossible burger. Tastes like real meat they do not clean the grill.

So in order! food was mediocre at best at our table my wife's Asian salad was not that great we've been to Ruby before not this one in particular but the one I went to before she said it had a much better tasting salad this one she couldn't figure out what was weird about it! I had the tuna melt it was only ok! Nothing to brag about we ordered regular unsweetened tea and they brought us tropical unsweetened tea which my wife didn't really care for! Our waitress seemed like she was a newbie she brought out our food forgot our drinks and didn't bring our check and if you ask for help it seemed like nobody was paying attention I felt like our waitress was a bit of an airhead but she was nice at least. So I say for sure I don't think I'll be coming to this place anytime soon!Parking: They had plenty of Tesla chargers

The service was great as was the food. My wife ordered a brownie shake we had to wait for so we weren't charged.

My friend and I stopped there for lunch. I ordered the Ruben sandwich, my friend ordered clam chowder and a wedge salad. The total with tip was $50.00. Holy cow! That's way too expensive for a diner. I won't be going back. Sorry.

Don't come here if you are expecting the real Ruby's! I live in Texas but have family in the LA area so I have grown up going to Ruby's. It's my favorite place to eat in CA and I go every time I visit. In December I went to the one in Long Beach and the food was great and just as it always is. That unfortunately is not the case with this Ruby's in Anaheim. I made a special trip on the day I was leaving CA and was sad to get food that was not only nothing like Ruby's food but was actually pretty bad. The chicken strips were too thick and fairly flavorless and the French fries were thick and marginal. Chicken strips and fries are my favorite food and Ruby's is my favorite place to eat them but the strips and fries here were bad. The service was good and very friendly but otherwise I cannot recommend.

On a chilly, rainy day you just want comfort food. This is it!I recommend the tomato soup with an upscale grilled. Brings back all those kid memories of delicious lunches at home or school.Enjoy!

Enjoyed the food. It was warm comfort food. Service is right out of an old diner very nice and polite staff. Hard to find that kinda of service these days. Management should be proud of there team there.

The food is always great. Love the cheeseburger with avocado. The server was not in a good mood. Usually service is 100. The bathrooms are dirty. They need to updated them.
