They don't offer the tacolate at this location. The monthly series are my go-to since they're limited edition. Other than that, it's always good, especially if you get a kind server who is patient with your questions and offers a nice experience. Some of the workers are just rushed and want you to hurry up, I'm not sure why. It's Disney area, we're all obviously okay waiting in lines haha, don't stress.

We took a family trip back in November - this past year and after following Salt and Straw on social media for years we were so excited to try the ice cream!
But disappointment followed.
We stood in line and decided to sample at least 3-4 flavors - all of them we tried… had zero flavor or the flavor was not it. After standing in line we decided to get ice cream still - might as well, since we are in line and didn’t want to waste our trip. Since, we were so excited to try this place - especially, being from the Midwest and flying out to California.
I decided to get the lavender and Parker house roll (their thanksgiving flavor). The lavender ice cream tasted like soap, and the Parker house roll ice cream had no flavor, no depth, there was nothing exciting about it.
My family owns an ice cream shop and we are very well versed in ice cream - we have tried at least 20+ places from all over the U.S. But Salt and Straw can do better, especially with their social media presence.
The flavors were lackluster, no depth, no love for their ice cream - nothing was enticing or exciting with their flavors.
I will say - the staff were super friendly and they were fine. Again, nothing truly outstanding or amazing.
Hope they will have future success.

One of my favorite places to grab ice cream when I'm at Disneyland is here. The regular and seasonal flavors are always tasty. I enjoy how creative they get with the flavors they make. The line goes by quickly and is managed as best as possible with the space they have. There isn't anywhere inside to sit and enjoy your cup or cone but there are plenty of seats outside to do so.

I love that they have Limited Edition vegan flavours each January for Veganuary. I tried 4 in split scoops. So delicious! They also have regular vegan flavors all the time, and their sugar cones are vegan. Very friendly, helpful staff.

Holiday seasonal flavors are amazing! The peppermint cocoa with crushed candy canes is perfect for peppermint lovers out there, I totally want to go back for this.
Sampled the almond brittle with salted ganache and pineapple upside cake, also will be coming back to get actual scoops because they were that good!!!

Salt & Straw at Downtown Disney delivered hands-down the best ice cream I’ve ever had. From the moment you walk up, the smell of freshly made waffle cones hits you and sets the tone for something special. The staff is friendly and patient, encouraging you to sample flavors until you find the one that absolutely stops you in your tracks. The ice cream itself is on another level rich, creamy, and full of bold, inventive flavors that somehow still feel perfectly balanced. Whether it’s their signature classics or the limited-edition seasonal creations, every scoop tastes like it was crafted with real care. It’s the kind of ice cream that makes you pause mid-bite because it’s that good. Even with the usual Disney crowds, the line moves quickly, and the experience feels fun rather than rushed. The flavors were a little eccentric for me, but I thought the double scoop price was pretty fair considering that the scoop was way bigger than the cup.
