We ordered several dishes including the chicken curry, beef rendang, chicken puffs, and prawn noodles. Everything was made with such care and bursting with flavors. Service was top notch - everyone was so nice and accommodating. I highly recommend seasons kitchen! It does not disappoint

Just ordered hainan chicken rice, dry noodle with bbq pork, fish ball soup, satay chicken, and curry puff. This was my second time at this place. The first time we did dine in. But this time we ordered take outs. The packaging to the food was clean and organized. I was looking forward the most to eat the hainan chicken rice. But so disappointed they did not pack the 3 sauces. So basically chicken rice with no sauce at all. Very disappointed. For now I will give only a 3 star review. Next time hopefully will be better.

I came here with my friends who are from Singapore and we all loved the food!! Every dish and drink was delicious and the price was more than fair. We just so happened to come in at their Sunday board game social time (3-5pm). We ended up staying 3 hours and playing games which the owners of the restaurant taught us themselves. Seasons is a wonderful place with such warm and welcoming owners! They seem to put a lot of effort into making their restaurant more than just a restaurant; but also a community. We are excited to come back again when we are near LA.

If I'm in the area and miss my mom's home cooking then I'd stop by Seasons Kitchen. Growing up eating, pretty much, all the items they serve in the menu, Seasons Kitchen doesn't disappoint...most of the time. It's still one of the places I thought of whenever I'm mentioning my family's home cooking to someone. I have also brought many people here and they all liked it. Appetizers: I grew up eating all these items. In my own personal satisfaction, nothing stood out for me, however, if you were to choose any appetizers, here are the ones I'd recommend from Seasons Kitchen: Roti Canai (Curry Roti), Chicken Satay, and either the sardine/chicken puffs. Entree: The Char Kwey Teow and Nasi Goreng Kampung are always good. Being Teochew, if the Char Kwey Teow is not good, I'd never come back. The Laksa Noodle is pretty good, could be better, in my opinion. The Nasi Lemak w/ Beef Rendang - my favorite order because rendang is my favorite dish - is a hit or miss. The main dish for this plate is the rendang, and at times the beef is just not tender enough. And it's not because of the way it's cooked, sometimes, it's just the way it's cut. Again, my opinion. Their pork char siu is pretty good also - not much to critic here. I wished they would have the Bak Kut Teh again. It's a prominent dish is the Teochew community. It's a dish that's big in Malaysia and Singapore. Their Bak Kut Teh had a good flavor, though I remember wishing for more meat (ribs), tofu, and mushroom. Service and ambiance of the place are nothing to complain about. I felt that I've always received good service. They had the TV on last time I went and played classics. Not sure if the they still do the ukulele thing on Tuesdays. But last time I brought my mom here for her birthday, years ago, the owner brought out the uke and sang her happy birthday in three languages. Because of that, this place will always have a place in my heart.

0 Star: Noise level 3 star: Service 2 stars: Food 0 star: Plating The restaurant's behavior is utterly unprofessional; they're playing mahjong during working hours, accompanied by a cacophony of shouting women and the incessant clatter of plastic tiles. The resulting noise is unbearable, rendering the dining experience completely unacceptable. Customers rightfully expect respect from the establishment, including a serene atmosphere and quality food. Upon stepping inside, I almost turned around immediately, mistaking the place for a senior card/mahjong community club. Our waitress, who took the order, sat at the mahjong table right away, making it hard to flag anyone down if you need help. The chef seems more concerned about the customers and briefly came out to have a small conversation. However, it failed to mask the restaurant's overall lack of professionalism. If they're so inclined to play games, they should do so at home or after working hours. -++Crispy Skin Roast Pork Belly with Rice: The pork belly is commendable, boasting a Hong Kong style with crispy skin, well-distributed fat, and rich flavor. However, the rice lacks moisture, making it a mismatch for the pork belly. ---Nasi Lemak: Disappointing across the board with dry chicken, hard rice, and cold anchovies. This dish is a definite pass. ---Malaysia Chicken Satay: A miss with cold, dry chicken chunks. Easily skippable. ---Malaysian Spiral Curry Puffs: Visually unappealing with broken and darkened pastry, The skin is flaky and oily, the filling lacks flavor. A strange carb choice with oversized potato cubes. --+Chicken Spiral Puffs: Barely distinguishable from the potato variant, lacking in chicken flavor or texture variety. It's a bit moister than the potato curry puff, and a bit tastier. ---Hot Teh Tarik: A diluted concoction of black tea and milk, best avoided. ---Kuih Lapis (Rainbow): Unpalatable and lacking in fragrance or flavor. Not worth a try. ---Curry Laksa Noodles: Soggy noodles stick together, infused with the taste of boiled water. Thick broth lacking depth, overshadowed by tasteless tofu. However, the addition of their store sambal transforms the dish into a flavorful delight. ---Fish Ball Dry Noodles: Poorly presented with thin noodles drowned in diluted sauce. The accompanying vegetables taste bitter, and the dish lacks appeal. +++ Belacan Sambal: While they don't make their own, the store-bought belacan sambal elevates the entire dining experience, redeeming the meal. The restaurant excels in roasted pork belly and small Cantonese dishes. However, its extensive menu feels overwhelming for such a modest establishment. While a smaller menu may offer fewer choices, it allows for a focus on specific dishes, ensuring higher quality and better taste, rather than a plethora of diluted and uninspired options lacking in distinct flavors. If the restaurant fails to deliver close-to-authentic Southeast Asian cuisine, it risks becoming indistinguishable from any other Cantonese roast house, a common find throughout OC. Competing with the myriad of excellent roast places becomes a daunting task when the specialty and unique flavors are not upheld.

I just came back from Singapore and was craving Malaysian food, I found this wonderful place. My food was delicious and I added some sauce to make it better. I recommend this place, the food was reasonable priced as well. The pork we had was delicious and tender.

Very disappointed.... I went there last Saturday with a friend, I ordered chicken curry, only few small pieces of chicken, the noodle is very thin yellow noodle, wish they serve the round yellow noodle, and almost half of the bowl of bean sprout on the bottom. My friend ordered crispy pork rice is ok. And I ordered nasi goreng and char keaw teow to go. The nasi goreng is so soft and it's doesn't like fried rice at all, the rice noodle too. I believe this is my last visit to Season Kitchen. Yes, Ipoh Kopitiam is so much better!!!

Seasons Kitchen is such a nice surprise. I picked it because really wanted to try the Kaya Toast. It didn't disappoint. Sweet Kaya jam and butter on nice toast served with soft boiled eggs for dipping- cracked and mixed at your table. So cool! We also had the Curry Roti and Crispy Pork with rice, both of which were amazing. The flavor and crunch of the pork was perfect and the curry to dip the roti in was flavorful and full of chicken. To drink we had hot milk tea - it was fun to watch our server pull the tea as she served it. The best place about Seasons Kitchen is the service. Everyone was so nice and welcoming and made us feel like we wanna go back just to hang out with these nice folks. Big thumbs up, they've got some new fans. I'll be back for sure.

Seasons kitchen is your go to place for Malaysian food! The restaurant is clean and neat. They have a wee store inside to buy your favorite Malay food items. The service is nice and friendly. The food came out quickly and hot. The food was flavorful, especially the roti. The thing I didn't like is that the sauces are in wee containers for the Hainan chicken. It's nearly impossible to get a good dunk using them.

I saw this place out of the blue and decided to try it out, and it did not disappoint! Staff were very welcoming and attentive, making sure I was taken care of. The owners and I even had a good conversation while waiting for my order! I ordered the Half and Half Dry Noodle on recommendation, and it was soo good! It hit my cravings in the right spots!! The first half of my dish was BBQ pork and was caramalized to perfection. The other half was crispy pork, which had a very nice crunch and was the perfect bite. Together with the noodles that were cooked to the right chew and sauced very generously, it was a heavenly combo. To top it off, I had the ABC Ais Kachang as a dessert. It's a sort of Malaysian shaved ice, and I loved every part of it. Sweet but not overwhelming. Very refreshing as well. Simply put, I would recommend to all my friends looking for a taste of Malaysia! Compliments to the chefs and staff!

Tasteless on the rice rice and chicken is too hard. Ipoh Kopitiam is better .doesn't seem this restaurant is authentic. Won't order again.

Had no idea what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Not only was the food fantastic but I got an education on Malaysian food and culture. The incredibly friendly staff made the experience even better.

After returning from a trip to Malaysia, I was really craving some good Malaysian food back in the US. Seasons Kitchen transported back to Asia for an hour of authentic culinary delights. The service was phenomenal. It looks like a family-run business and they seemed to take great joy in their work and establishment. My thirst was immediately quenched by their top-notch teh tarik. The kaya toast with soft-boiled eggs were just the way I like it. The nasi lemak was probably the best I've had here in the US. The Pork char siu and crispy skin pork dried noodle was probably the most common entree of the things we ordered but still very satisfying. I also love how they also have a mini-market lining one of their walls, selling everything from instant noodles to coffee and tea. After our fantastic meal, I bought some kaya jam to take home.

Hainan chicken was super tender and the rice that came with it was perfectly seasoned. First time having the Kaya toast and it was AMAZING!
