2/5Got a drink and a pretzel before hopping off to world of color. Pretzel was dry and hard so for sure get the cheese sauce to go with it. The cocktail was pretty fun and tasty but a tiny bit on the boozy side. It's honestly not worth the stop unless you're desperate or if you're just already here.

I guess for a theme park it’s OK, but they really didn’t have a very good selection of wine, which is surprising, considering they are supposed to be representative of NAPA wineries. The food was pretty good, but the service was a little lacking. It just didn’t feel like it was friendly.

This is probably my favorite place to get a quick beer on Disney property. Sonoma Terrance is a place to get drinks to go. They have a rotating menu of craft beer, wine, and mixed drinks. The mixed drinks are often premixed, and pour out of bottles. MOBILE ORDER is your friend here. My friends are always impressed when I can put in a mobile order on the Disneyland app, and quickly walk up and grab my beer without waiting in the line. PROPS: Fast beers SLOPS: This location opens later and closes earlier than the rest of Disney California Adventure

Have you ever been to a place and the staff was rude right off the bat and immediately ruined your experience? That's what happened to us here. We were waiting in line wanted to buy a food festival item. The lady in front of us walked away, as I'm walking up to the server (Alexis), I was tearing off my PREPAID food tab right in front of her. I approach and order and before I can finish, very rudely she says, "I can't accept that, you've torn it off, I need to tear it off". No where does it say this in it by the way. So immediately it put us on the defensive because we have already paid for these tabs. And they weren't cheap. Plus the way she said it and her delivery was such that she was tired of customers and was way combative. First time to Sonoma Terrace, we are Magic Key Annual Passholders and Sonoma Terrace forever holds a bad taste in our mouth because of the server Alexis. Very much not up to Disney quality staff.

This was a go-to spot on our recent trip to DCA. Quiet, not busy, and the staff was super friendly. The Pineapple Passion was super yummy and got the job done!

Not a bad place to sit and refresh for a while. It's a wine bar and/or beer garden. We normally come for the wine, champagne and pretzels. Just a great stop during our visit to the parks. Located across from the lagoon and Pixar Pier, nestled in next to the Wine Country Trattoria. I feel like the seating area could use a little updating or upgrading, but it is still shady and open. There are half a dozen or so wines to choose from, a small selection of beers, hard cider, a couple mixed drinks... and a Bavarian pretzels (with or without a cheese cup). Very simple menu, yet something for everyone, even for the non-alcoholic drinkers there are bottled sodas and waters. Drinks will cost you $10-15 and a pretzel is under $10... cheese cup is a buck and a half extra. I do wish the pretzels were softer and warmer, but they do the trick. During the Covid times you can only order items through the app then wait until your items are ready and head to the window. Even then there's a bit of a wait for your purchases to be ready. They aren't super fast, but we're here to relax so really it's fine. Just find a seat and place your order... then enjoy. Nothing too hoity toity with this place, but it is an easy stop to relax and unwind a bit. Cheers!!!

On the left side of the Italian restaurant. Pretty quick because I don't think many come here with the limited menu. Avocado cheesesteak was a little dry but nice mild spice flavor. Pineapple passion is sweet and tasty! Gonna have to come back for the Bavarian pretzel one of these times..
I've had a Disneyland pass for years and have been coming to Sonoma Terrance forever! Despite I only ever get a to-go beer, I've always had pleasant experiences. The cast members are usually super nice but our experience today stood out. Phil from Pomona hates his job and it shows in the way he treats people. He was so rude and very unpleasant. I've never had anyone ask me to take a drink of my drink in front of them to "verify" that after I drink from it, I wouldn't be able to return it. My partner and I were so confused, we had to ask him again what he wanted us to do and he told us to drink from our cups so that we couldn't ask for a refund. I don't even know what that means or what experiences led him to ask us to drink in front of him.

Maybe we were there on an off day, but Sonoma Terrace (for a sit down lunch) left us feeling like we missed something. For starters, seating is inside an area that seems like it could use some magical remodeling. I get the Italian vibe, but it seemed dated. The walls and furniture could use some freshening up. The one menu item I was excited to try, The Peppermint Martini, which was on the online menu wasn't even available. When we asked, the server indicated they never received the ingredients. Well that's a drag! Out server must have missed the Disney orientation because he was just such a drag to be around. He seemed like he needed that Peppermint Martini more than me! Food just wasn't in line with other places, as far as quality. There are far better places in Disney's California Adventures.

Love Sonoma Terrace! Always one of my go-to places to grab a drink at California Adventure. Favorite drink is the Pineapple Passion (white rum with pineapple & passion fruit). It is a good spot to grab a quick drink & bite to relax after a long day at Disney.

My 9 month son fell extremely hard here, my husband ran up and asked for ice and he was told he needed a container... he came back with a cup and was still denied. I finally went up baby in hand asking pls for just one cube of ice. I was denied and was incorrectly told to go yo care services for ice. They don't even have ice. It took over an hour asking for help to a slew of employees so we gave up. My son has a giant welt when one of these jerks could have helped a baby. Never going back.
