Food is fresh but breading lacks flavor. Sauces are ok. Service is great. Nothing remarkable other than it's gluten free.

This is 4.5 stars but I’m not gonna rate 4 cuz it was good. Got the 10 piece sweet & hot, not very hot and had solid crunch with plenty of sauce. Solid spot.

The Food is good. My first two times yes!!! Not consistent with the salt content. I thought I would give them another try because I went late, but again for the 3rd time no!! Chicken was extremely bland and not the taste from my 1st experience. It's a hit and Miss with them smh ! I referred a friend and she was 30 mins early before closing and they closed they doors 30mins before closing . I guess they weren't as busy as normal to close their restaurant early. Highly recommend calling so that you don't waste time and GAS!! Gas is very expensive on top of their $30 chicken meal. I'll try them again, but it will be months from now!! Again hit or miss .

The food was delicious and fresh. The chicken was juicy and not all greasy. The sweet and spicy sauce was perfect and the shrimp fried rice was simple but superb. Our waitress was very patient and kind. The customer service was great and she answered all our questions. We would definitely drive from afar again to eat here.

I called in for a phone order and the staff gave me a super nice customer service. He patiently listened to my questions and took my orders. The chicken wings were still crispy, juicy, and delicious even after my 10 mins driving and 10 more mins preparing at home. The quality of the food is reasonable for its price. The restaurant was chill and clean when I visited. I will definitely come back for a dine-in experience. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone loving Korean fried chicken!

I found out this was a casual place to eat at Open late night. My brother and I ate here and it was pleasant. This is overall a good hangout spot to eat casually and hang out. I recommend getting a side of sauce so that you can pour it onto the wings. It will make a difference.Sweet and Spicy Chicken: Good. It is sweet and a casual dish to get with friends.Honey Garlic Chicken: Good. Sometimes oil will drip after a bite. The honey is subtle but there and they are nice casual pieces of chicken.

I usually got original fried chicken and sweet and spicy chicken. Original fried chicken is a bit of spicy, which is I love it.Very soft and delicious Korean fried chicken. Because of rice chicken, I didn't need to worry about gluten. Good amount of food and crazy sauce.

This place consistently delivers crispy, gluten free deliciousness. I always order the original chicken and chicken gizzard… the texture and flavor is always so good. I have yet to try a Korean fried chicken place that uses solely rice flour and does it this well (,: so thankful for this place!Parking: I always manage to find a spot in the lot with no problemsDietary restrictions: Gluten sensitivity

Crispy, tasty Korean chicken. The banchan is tasty, their beers are nice and cold (although they had no Korean beer on tap?), and the service was decent. Do be warned that their chicken does have some spice to it. Nothing too crazy but you may find it to be too much if you find mayo spicy.

This review is overdue.I have supported them for many years and told many about this place.Pro: The fried chicken is great along with the sauces and gluten free friendly.Cons: There's a young lady who works there(L?) who has mistreated me multiple times. This is appalling considering I am a loyal gluten-free customer. The old man who I think is the owner barely speaks English and was not proactive in doing what he could to resolve the matter.I have experienced great service from a guy (20s) who works there but this young lady tends to work there often when I order. She can be extremely passive-aggressive and she has gaslighted me and responded in petty ways. She lacks professionalism and can be extremely rude.I left my card with her one time and needed to run to the restroom-- instead of keeping my card near her and face down, she placed my card facing up with all the numbers showing right where customers tend to pay and sign and the customer standing there to pay was staring at my card which is how I realized what happened in the first place. When I confronted her about her mishandling, she was argumentative and unapologetic. She refused to acknowledge the mishandling of my confidential bank card. And to make matters worse, she handled my food and decided to give me only one napkin which is inconsistent with the way they provided napkins and etc for previous orders. Her behavior is abusive and she will be the first person I call police on to file a report if I encounter this mistreatment again. I was last there in May and haven't gone back since. I should not have to feel this way or avoid supporting a worthwhile business because of a bad employee. You need to fire her. She's a huge liability.Parking: Sometimes at night, parking is impossible to find and you have to find parking in the residential area or further awayDietary restrictions: For gluten free people, this fried chicken is the answer to your cravings.I'm not sure if they're careful enough to claim celiac-friendliness.

This place is a true hidden gem! By far the best Korean Fried Chicken in Southern California. My partner and I regularly drive about an hour just to have it. They use Rice flour so you can bring all your friends that dont eat gluten, and the rice flour makes the chicken taste way better too. I would recommend the Hot Soy or Honey garlic (definitely with the bone in, not boneless). Service is great and the price is extremely reasonable. Please give this place a try! I used to come here back when it was called Ssals. They since changed owners, but the quality is just as good if not better. Since the change in ownership the shops been a lot more empty (probably due to a combination of the name change and the pandemic). It definitely deserves to be way more popular than it is, and hopefully that will change.

I tried this place based on all the reviews. *Note that this review is based off a take-out order. I ordered the Honey Garlic fried chicken and was sadly disappointed. The sauce was on the side and it only came with 1 sauce on the side, which did not seem like enough sauce.. because the chicken was dry : ( I would need to possibly give this spot another try if I am in the area. The service was okay since my review is based on a take-out.
