The food was really hit and miss. There was a nice variety, but most of the hot dishes were actually cold or lukewarm at best. The desserts were all bite-size, which made it easy to sample everything, and most of them were pretty good. The service, though, was terrible. We were greeted warmly at first, but after our drinks and bread were served, our waiter basically disappeared. A manager eventually walked by and kindly cleared our plates, which we appreciated, but that was about the only highlight of the service. We also weren't thrilled about the automatic 18% service charge added to our bill—especially for a party of just two. It felt like an obvious attempt by our waiter to squeeze out a bigger tip than he earned. Neither OpenTable's description of the buffet nor anything from the Tangerine Room mentioned this charge. We still added a little extra tip because we felt kind of sorry for the guy and his lack of professionalism, but not enough to stop us from writing this review. It's disappointing, because we were really excited to have our Thanksgiving here. Unfortunately, it turned into a bad memory, and we won't be returning.

We were greeted effusively and seated on time. The service, food and ambiance was a pleasant surprise. Good team at the Tangerine. Thank you chef!

A hidden gem. The exterior and location are unassuming, but the menu is phenomenal and all of the food was perfectly prepared. The service could be a bit better, but the quality of the meals they offer are top tier and well worth the money.

POOR! We ordered 4 dishes, all very well designed, but LOW quality taste and texture Ahi tuna, super salty with unpleasant spice Calamari, not well marrianated chicken, Flat soda, tough rice. We left the food after a few bites. The servere was initially respectful but then made a few mocking commentes to our friend who asked for "No cheese" for the chicken panini (as it doesn't make sense to order panini without cheese).

This was our first night at the hotel and this was the most convenient option at the time. Service was great, our server was very attentive to us. Only problem was the food we were left underwhelmed, and we couldn't find it in us to try to complain because the server was very enthusiastic about the menu items. I ordered the spanish grilled octopus (too much happening on the plate, the aoli overtook the whole dish and the potato stack tasted like soggy sour cream and onion chips). Also ordered roasted carrots again too much happening on the plate (the carrots were fine but did not need to have that odd curry sauce that over complicated something that is simple). Hubby ordered Wedge and the bolognese which he said were great. Desert was also overly hyped for something that tasted like protein powder and an under done cake with chopped pineapple we both couldn't enjoy it at all. They have a fair selection of wine, and cocktails. Only other thing to mention is when you are coming back from a long day the last thing you want to see is menu items in hard to see orange print on a white menu. Other than that would comeback for certain items only.

The space is lovely, but the food was only OK especially given the prices (truffle fries - great, fish - flabby skin, vegetables - undercooked, meatloaf - dry). Service was also only OK. We were never asked if we wanted a second drink. Volume was loud, but there was a private party in the room next to our table, which impacted the experience as people were flowing out of the room. I'm unlikely to return.

Great food - the onion soup is one of the best I ever had. All food was way above average.

Easy to book. Excellent service. Food cooked to perfection. Decor was stellar and noise level was not bad even with a game on (able to have conversation at the table).

Our food was all pretty good. Service just takes forever at this restaurant. We were here for breakfast and lunch. The restaurant was not full, maybe half full. However, we waited for nearly an hour for our food both times. If the kitchen could figure out how to get the food out quicker, this would be a great spot.

I had a great breakfast for the first time here this morning and it was very good. The restaurant was very nice, very clean and our waitress Patricia was the best.

It's mentioning in their website the brunch goes up to 4pm however I got there at 12:30 and there was no buffet available anymore. Must be updated in the website the actual hours for the buffet so we are aware.

Delicious food, great service, great atmosphere. The only this is missing is a sign outside by the road. It's difficult to find this place for someone who is not staying at the hotel so please add a sign by the road. Thank you!

They weren't picking up phone so I had to go in person to ask a question prior to dining. We informed the server we had an event. Food took a long time, she didn't check on us outside, which is in front of garage, bus stop and smoking station. Then it took forever to get the check and we had to get up twice to request. Then she disappeared again. They weren't busy, we went at 630 We didn't even get a chance to eat. The bill was expensive, $40 for salmon no sides. So many restos in Anaheim, choose another.
