Impolite staff, blames the customer for communicating not in advance that bill should be split. Makes up more and more excuses that they cannot split the bill. Food is way too expensive, not of good quality at all. Worst experience in a restaurant of all time. Strong recommendation to avoid the place at all costs!

Stay away.
We sat in a nondescript undecorated hall, Food and beverage selection was limited, food took more than an hour and was bland, lukewarm, and seemed like it came straight from a package. Incredibly overpriced on top.

A banquet hall, not a restaurant. The food is bland catering. Limited menu with one Italian dish (pesto pasta) and a few other steak/chicken options. Smells terrible inside. Went for a business meal and was totally embarrassed. Don't fall for the photos.

The venue is a wedding hall that doubles as a restaurant. While the decor looked quite fancy, the room was loud and echoing. Food service was extremely slow, we had a 6:30pm reservation and did not eat until 8:30. There was nothing special about the meals, it was okay but certainly not worth the up-scale prices. They gave a 15% discount for the wait time, but then added 18% automatic gratuity to our table of 5 people (as though we were a large group). Of course, they didn't mention that gratuity had already been added.

Top notch service. JJ was our server and he was awesome. Both gentlemen that helped us tonight were really nice. Food was delicious. There are some vegetarian options. Decor was really fancy.

This is an odd place. There are so many questions about it. It seems to be some sort of event space . It’s unfinished as you enter the building- really weird but get past that and have a seat- you will quickly forget about that.

The restaurant/room is very bright (wish they would dim the lights a bit) and formal setting but California casual seems fine for attire.

The food- absolutely outstanding. We had a business dinner with about 10 people and everyone was very happy with their meal. There is a comment about the steaks- get the fillet over the NY. Much better cut and it was noticeable.

Their house Old Fashion was with Makers Mark and came with a cinnamon stick- thought it was odd but tasted fantastic.

I have eaten at some very nice steak houses and I have to say the food here is amazing but the setting is odd. I would rate it a 4+ overall. I want to give it a 5 but can’t- there are so many weird things going on outside the one room restaurant.

Advertisement is completely misleading. I took corporate clients to this dinner expecting a beautiful, fully stocked steak house, and walked into what felt like a BAD DREAM from Alice in Wonderland. No where did it mention this was a renovated banquet hall. Very Embarrassed to have brought my clients to what felt like the back table at a wedding in a box! No Fine Dining Experience Here! The food was okay good, not great. Wine selection horrible. Kept being told they just sold out ?!?! Took 2 hours to receive out meal. We will not return, nor will we recommend.

Waiter was somehow unable to split the check - said that the policy prohibited it. I can honestly say that I have never heard that from another restaurant. Needless to say, this caused an unnecessary complication to a mediocre experience.

It's a big building with an event space. We were seated in a nice almost private room for a business dinner. The food and service were great. It's a unique experience, but worth it.

We booked a customer dinner here while in town for a conference, and to our surprise when we arrived, the restaurant was booked for a wedding and they had moved all dinner reservations to the theater next door on the stage. It was a very odd experience to explain to our customers who are used to high end restaurants and dining. The food was fine, but strange experience.

I would love to give this place more than one star. But I can’t. Cording their website they are open every day except for Monday. I showed up at 7:00 PM on a Thursday afternoon and the place was deserted. A guy in shorts and a T-shirt asked me if he could help me. Well, what do you think? I’m here just because I wandered in. I asked him about the restaurant and he said it was closed today. Said the owner was in the other room. I asked if I had a reservation. Apparently you must have a reservation that is must with a capital MUST. Based on this , strange experience and unreliable information on their website, I find it hard to believe that the place is worth it. They did offer me to have tacos which were being grilled outside. Said it was the same owner.

We had a dinner for about 30 people at The Alexander. The food and service were excellent. Make sure to have the Tiramisu for dessert it was the best I’ve had.

We ate at The Alexander for a business diner tonight, the food was delicious, the space was gorgeous, and our server Jasmine was so kind and helpful! We would definitely come back next time we are in town! It is such a fun, delicious new place!
