The Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Dinner Show - Orange County, California

Was not thrilled with this. Dinner was average. Drinks very pricey. Paid extra for the suspect package and there was about 5 minutes of interaction with the person we chose. Acting was extremely corny. We were supposed to try and solve the crime. I never heard the accused name so how could I guess them? Will never go back.

Had a very good time here. The show was funny and interesting. You have to pay close attention and take notes. The food was good however the drinks were expensive and there was some confusion on validating my parking ticket at the Hotel. All in all a great experience.

My experience here was just amazing the staff was awesome my whole party enjoyed the night they do have a blast inside this location which is great the show was just amazing you will love it i highly recommend this place but sadly only bad thing was the food it wasn't the best and the portions were just to small for what you for.

I took my husband for his birthday and we loved it! Pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was, and the show was even better! We seriously laughed all night long. Actors are so funny. You gotta try this out if you haven’t yet. Highly recommended!!!

Came for my daughter's birthday. She and I both have celiac and require gluten free food. I contacted the venue before booking to make sure this was possible, and was assured it was. I confirmed again 3 days before. Our meal tickets said gluten free. But really they DO NOT accommodate for gluten free. There was no appetizer for us, the salad had croutons, there was no dessert, and when the food arrived, it most definitely was not gluten free. I think they gave us the vegetarian offering. We asked the server and they said "Oh yeah". Except I was horribly ill in the bathroom 3 times before the show was even over. Missed the best parts of the show because the kitchen staff was ignorant. What a completely horrific night. The 2 family members that were not gluten free said their food was terrible too. Show was okay, but it was just that... a show... there was truly no way to deduce who the killer was, the story line had too many holes to be realistic. Our horrible night was not worth the $350 price tag, especially being so ill from their carelessness.

I celebrated my birthday and was extremely worried so that the place I chose and the program it had and the food they served was good, but it was not good it was great! The show is lightly interactive, funny and interesting. Detectives deserve 5 stars! Food is good too, but I would advise to serve something during the second act also, cause it is quite long, not interactive, so you can just sit and eat but by that time there is nothing to eat already. And it was inconvenient that I could not buy a bottle of wine for our table, they sell only by cups, and the reason is obvious but I think still you need more options. The coolest thing was that the killer was sitting at our table and we knew it from the very beginning but couldn’t proof???cause you need to be a real detective to solve the case???in general it was a great experience! The show was a lot of fun! Amazing improvisation by the detectives! Hilarious! It made up entirely for the fact that the Food was nothing to write home about... and the service was pretty poor. What kind of server tells you to speak more quietly from across the table when the show isn't on yet? And who complains to the customer if the wrong food was brought out?

So hilarious. Best time I’ve had in awhile and cannot wait to come back and see more shows. Food was also every good! So happy they have vegetarian options! I have no complaints.

It was very entertaining! The food was okay but I definitely enjoyed the show.
