The best bakery in Orange County is The Gateaux Shoppe. Sally, the owner,, really knows what she is doing. She is a master baker and a true artist. She created the most unique and stunningly beautiful wedding cake, for my daughter's wedding, and the invited guest all came, up close, to admire the beauty. May I add that is was DELICIOUS! I looked at all the local bakeries and found their wedding cakes to be pedestrian and boring. Then I found Sally, at the Gateaux Shoppe and a masterpiece was created!!!

The afternoon tea was absolutely amazing! The scones, tea sandwiches, and all the lovely desserts were so fresh and delicious. The staff were so kind and helpful, they helped make our birthday celebration so special! We highly recommend this cafe and bakery!

The cupcakes are great! Not too sweet and love the flavor selection. My favorites are the cookie butter and Vietnamese coffee. Love coming here when I'm craving sweets

I had their rice crispy treat and red velvet cupcake. The rice crispy treat was solid while I enjoyed their red velvet cupcake. If I had to compare, if anyone has had the one at Vons, this one is noticeably better. I have had other red velvet cakes but those were too long ago to remember.

Stopped by recently for afternoon tea and everything tasted amazing! The service was excellent and overall super friendly. The scones with the butter were my favorite pastry. Everything tasted freshly made and diligently well put together. You will need reservations to book for a group or party. Overall there was plenty of leftover food that we took home so the portions look small but very filling.

I love this place and the people here. We came for their first afternoon tea today, and it was as cute as you think it is. The food and pastries were tasty, and the homemade cream and jelly were wonderful. I also enjoyed the seasonal strawberry shortcake tea and the mango peach herbal tea. Sally and everyone else here are so warm and welcoming. The only thing I would change is that one of our teas was room temperature when it reached our table, but keep in mind this was their first event, and I enjoyed the experience overall. I can't wait to come back to try what they have to offer for their afternoon tea in the next few months!

I am so happy I went with these guys for my custom birthday cake for my wife. The price was a bargain for what they presented to me. I gave them a picture of what I was looking for roughly and I absolutely love it and so will my wife. Definitely will be back in the future. They also have coffee and yummy treats. I've been meaning to write this review for a year! We got our daughter's smash cake and cupcakes for her first birthday and here and it exceeded all expectations. Not only was everything beautiful but everything tasted delicious!! I'm planning to get all my cakes here from now on.

I have gotten 3 cakes here over the course of a few years, and each cake was delicious. I love the buttercream filling it's not too sweet. My dad loved his 75th birthday cake. The owner is very professional and welcoming. I will definitely continue to get my cakes from here.
