We stopped by for a very early breakfast and were able to avoid the morning rush. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I got the vegetable omelette which was filled with plenty of vegetables, cheese and fresh avocado. The side of fruit was also very fresh. I chose the scratch made banana bread and it was served warm with butter. So good and a huge slice! My husband had the waffle and said it was cooked perfectly.

It's a bit noisy but definitely worth the visit. Everything is cooked to order and made from scratch. The biscuit and gravy is to die for and so is the hone made banana bread, both of which are brought to table before your breakfast choice arrives so youcan start snacking right away..no wait! Karen is my go to server..she knows her stuff abd is quick with orders and coffee refills. Ypubwill definitely be back..the line get kinda crazy around 10am but they seat you pretty quick

Food is served pipping hot and fast. Great friendly service. To avoid the wait, arrive early as the restaurant fills up by 9 am.
The waffle was nice and fluffy.

Forgot my servers name but she kept it 100% with me and was hella patient when my friend misheard her and she had to repeat herself. She probably thought we were dense lol but she was super nice and super friendly. Food was top tier I highly recommend the chorizo bacon breakfast burger and the the hungry man.

When we first got there, there was a hostess/waistress with serious face - “all business.” It’s Sunday and it’s brunch - shouldn’t be anything serious 🧐 but things turned around. Our waitress came by - friendly and smiled. The place runs like a military camp- everyone knows what they are doing or should be doing. No need to ask for coffee refill.
For the service and atmosphere- I rate it 5
For my GRIZZLY Benedict - a 2. Don’t get it. The hash and eggs were the only thing edible items.

Best breakfast in town! I had Skilet carne asada and banana bread. Very tender steak, delicious black beans and awesome banana bread! Good service too!

This was a suggestion from one of our ART bus drivers, Jeremy. Local restaurants are the best part of any trip and The Scratch Room was awesome! Breakfast was reasonably priced and delicious. 2 highlights - the biscuits & gravy are WOW and the chicken & waffles were perfection. Big thanks to ART driver Jeremy, we will be back when we visit!
