Had the breakfast, burrito and cheese stick. Both were really good. Nothing bad to say at all. They're both very large and filling, plenty to split with

Really awesome little sandwich kitchen. Have had multiple items on their menu, in particular my favorite is their Thai Chicken wrap. My favorite spot to go every Wednesday. Keep up the good work guys!

Satisfying Breakfast Burrito, but Pricey and Average ServiceDuring my recent visit to the Trough Sandwich shop in Anaheim, CA, I opted for their breakfast burrito with bacon. Without a doubt, the burrito was enormous and incredibly flavorful, delivering a scrumptious afternoon delight. The breakfast burrito's taste was spot-on, though I must note that it leaned towards the greasy side. While it may suit some tastes, others might prefer a lighter option. As for the service, it was adequate but nothing exceptional. The staff efficiently took our orders, but their lack of enthusiasm and smiles left something to be desired. A little more friendliness and attentiveness would certainly elevate the overall dining experience. One aspect that gave me pause was the price. At over $25 for two breakfast burritos without drinks, I found it to be on the pricier side, especially considering that it's a sandwich shop. A more budget-friendly approach could make the experience even more appealing to customers. All in all, the Trough Sandwich shop does serve a delectable breakfast burrito that's sure to fill you up. The size and taste of the burrito alone make it worth a visit. However, the lack of friendliness in the service and the higher price point might make you think twice before returning. With some improvements in service and pricing, the Trough Sandwich shop could easily earn a higher rating. For now, it receives a 3.5-star review for its strengths and areas that could use some attention.

Onion rings had WAY too much breading on them. Pork sandwich was mostly cold. I would not reccomend.

We were brought to this place because of their breakfast burritos. We understand the hype. Coming from SD breakfast burritos, let alone Mexican food in general, is a peculiar thing. Their breakfast burrito is a strong contender. The price did raise an eyebrow, but considering its Anaheim, and that the establishment is in the same building as luxury apartments the price factor wasn’t a deal breaker. In fact, they at least stepped up the presentation. As for everything else, the place vibes like a soft sports bar that happens to be open and serves breakfast. It is also peculiar that after the fact some of the biggest critiques are on their sandwiches—which we didn’t try nor what brought us over. For the most part the place was clean: Dining area, restrooms, and what we could see of the kitchen. Parking is a little confusing but manageable. Would definitely come back to try a sandwich and get a beer, maybe watch a game. Till next time! ?
