Had the breakfast, burrito and cheese stick. Both were really good. Nothing bad to say at all. They're both very large and filling, plenty to split with

This is a sandwich shop that offers sammies, salads, wraps, bowls, breakfast sides and a bar! The salads, bowls and wraps are new menu items. The shop is clean and well appointed with a bar area with fun chairs and a place to hang your purse! The service is friendly and the staff is very knowledgeable and can recommend anything you want per your desires. The food came out quickly and hot. The menu has your usual items and also some fun ones like the vice 13.5, a pulled pork sammie, the bulgogi wrap and the luau bowl. With so many goodies it was hard to decide but we chose the fan favorite breakfast burrito and the Italian cold cuts. Both were delicious. I added breakfast sausage to the burrito so it had that extra breakfast flavor. (They have other add ons). The Italian cold cut was filled with just the right ratios of meat, veggies and bread. Which I totally appreciate! We also had the tots and beer battered zucchini as sides which were both crunchy and delicious. We washed it all down with a mimosa and a blonde on tap. I was told there is a secret menu as well which includes the Mac Attack (it includes cheddar cheese, elbow macaroni, cheddar mornay and bacon bits!) and others. I clearly need to return!

Food is extremely tasty. Really nice and easy to access. Service is great and I got a good recommendation. Get the breakfast burrito.

Absolutely the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. Not soggy or greasy, the hash browns are crunchy and perfect!

Really awesome little sandwich kitchen. Have had multiple items on their menu, in particular my favorite is their Thai Chicken wrap. My favorite spot to go every Wednesday. Keep up the good work guys!

Satisfying Breakfast Burrito, but Pricey and Average ServiceDuring my recent visit to the Trough Sandwich shop in Anaheim, CA, I opted for their breakfast burrito with bacon. Without a doubt, the burrito was enormous and incredibly flavorful, delivering a scrumptious afternoon delight. The breakfast burrito's taste was spot-on, though I must note that it leaned towards the greasy side. While it may suit some tastes, others might prefer a lighter option. As for the service, it was adequate but nothing exceptional. The staff efficiently took our orders, but their lack of enthusiasm and smiles left something to be desired. A little more friendliness and attentiveness would certainly elevate the overall dining experience. One aspect that gave me pause was the price. At over $25 for two breakfast burritos without drinks, I found it to be on the pricier side, especially considering that it's a sandwich shop. A more budget-friendly approach could make the experience even more appealing to customers. All in all, the Trough Sandwich shop does serve a delectable breakfast burrito that's sure to fill you up. The size and taste of the burrito alone make it worth a visit. However, the lack of friendliness in the service and the higher price point might make you think twice before returning. With some improvements in service and pricing, the Trough Sandwich shop could easily earn a higher rating. For now, it receives a 3.5-star review for its strengths and areas that could use some attention.

Tried this place as a recommendation from @ForkingAround on YouTube which ranked this the second best breakfast burrito in the OC. Well, not only was it amazing but I doubt there is any better burrito in the OC. I got the burrito with Apple Wood Bacon and Avocado as an extra treat. The sunny side up eggs and the tater tot hash browns really set this apart from any other burrito to date. Will certainly be coming back here in the future.

Absolutely amazing. I just started working down the road and these folks do it 100% right. Hugo and the rest of the team have sandwiches and burritos dialed in! I'll be eating here atleast once a week.

Onion rings had WAY too much breading on them. Pork sandwich was mostly cold. I would not reccomend.

I used DoorDash today to pick up a sun pesto sandwhich from this place. Even though they marked my order as ready, I got there and they said they didn't have any turkey meat. It was the beginning of the day, and I was surprised they were out of their most popular meat. I ended up having to wait an additional 20 mins past my order time for a new sandwhich to be made. While the food is yummy, the service was underwhelming. Additionally, you have to park in a lot to get to this place, as there is not street parking. That being said, the trough sandwhich in Rancho Santa Margarita is fantastic! I recommend that location.
