My husband and I have been here twice now and haven’t been disappointed! This place can be a little difficult to get reservations for, but I did notice last time we were there it wasn’t as difficult to get an outdoor table. The staff is so kind and attentive. The food and drinks are always amazing. The cups that are available for purchase are a little expensive, but the quality makes it totality worth it. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Wow. What fun! We participated in the Disneyland Food & Wine festival Mixology class at Trader Sam's. The staff were great. As always a great tiki feel inside! One of my favorite tiki bars.

Getting drinks here (with a reservation) was my very first experience of any kind at Disneyland. While the Tiki Bar is decorated nicely (nothing to write home about, but fun), the service and the drinks were forgettable. I am not sure whether we just got there on a bad day, but my expectation of Disneyland Parks was that it's the happiest place on Earth and that they care for everyone to have a good time. The service reflected none of that. We were served in a manner that made me feel more like a nuisance than a valued guest. If this were anywhere else in LA I wouldn't care to comment or write this review but given the way Disney markets (and prices!) their experiences, it was totally forgettable. Go in and take a look, but spend your money somewhere else.

After years of coming to Disneyland, I finally made the time to check this place out and it did not disappoint. Food was delicious, service was what your would expect at a Disney property, drinks were on par and the atmosphere was 100% fun. It a was nice to take a break from the parks but not from the fun - highly recommend if you're looking to do something new or different during your time at Disneyland.

A super small but excellent bar! We decided to stop in when we walked to Disneyland, and it was worth the wait. I believe the wait time was approximately 30 minutes inside. The drinks were worth the price; I thought they were solid and tasty! But the FOOD was soooo good. Servers were great, the vibe was on point. That Poke bowl and those wings... I can't wait to go back!

We think our expectations were too high. {shrug} Trader Sam's is a small spot! No wonder you cannot get a reservation easily. We did walk up for lunch on the weekend and put our name on the list. We didn't wait long and it worked out just fine. They save tables for parties with a minor. We were seated at the bar indoor. You can get the same food at the outdoor window or patio restaurant next door. Sitting indoor is the way to go as it has the decor. The tiki drinks- there are 3 that have an announcement or special effect. Also, you will not be served the drink in a special tiki mug unless you opt to buy the mug to take home as a souvenir. If you are a tiki fan and travel - we recommend you visit tiki tatsuya in Austin, tx. And also check out the tiki subreddit on Reddit for more tiki tips!

The bar inside is incredible. The food is fine, but the drinks are fantastic. I’ve sat at the bar inside a few times and the atmosphere and drinks are awesome for a tiki bar. Will is an excellent bar tender that not only kills the drinks on the menu but he knows other classics as well.

Tldr : Not what it used to be a year ago, sit outside drinks are still boozy though.Last here in late 2022 and it was fantastic. 2024 update they don't do anything special inside besides for the shipwrecked drink. Anna our server was near the worst we have ever had. No personality and didn't even use any words during a change we made. We would always insist on sitting inside in the past. Not only do we not care about sitting inside in the future, we will question if it's worth even going here. Not what it used to be, difficult as can be to get a reservation. Lucky it only took 35 mins for a walk up inside not at the bar at 130pm.

Cute intimate tiki bar! I really like all the decorations and like all the fun music noises that happen when you order certain drinks! Oh and drinks were super yummy! The one veg a dish available wash fresh, flavorful surprisingly filling!! The only thing I do wish is that they have at least two vegan options on the menu. I wanted to go back the next day but I didn’t due to no other food vegan option.
