First time having food from this truck last night at HB food truck Thursday nights (16242 Beach Blvd, Corner of Beach and Stark, Huntington Beach, CA 92647 530- 9pm) and the food was delicious!!! Many different options of sliders, sandwiches, plates, Mac n cheese options, loaded tots, bowls, etc. tri tip plate was $15! Such tender tri tip so good! Sandwich was $13! Service was friendly and fast! Def will try again!

Had the truck out to my job location today. Very happy they came. Food was amazing. All our staff was pleased with all their offerings. Quality meat, amazing fries and tots, and one killer dessert. Your day will be elevated with one taste.

The truck came to my place of work and is still here. Their tri tip is divine. Well worth my infrequent red meat intake. It is well seasoned and very tender. I ate the whole steakhouse sandwich! If you're a horseradish lover like I am, that aioli rocks. Highly recommmend.

They were great! Came to our neighborhood so we could order and then sit outside in our yards to eat "together." Both the service and food were excellent! Love to have them come again.

Best Tri-Tip Sandwiches and creations! I literally crave everything on that menu ALL the time! If they still have Maverick Melts (they run out sometimes because they're that good and that popular!) when your there make sure you get one! One of my other favourites is their cheesy bacon tots! Crispy Tots with the most delicious cheese sauce and bacon! The owner has always been there when I've visited and has to be one of the friendliest people! Cannot recommend this food truck enough!

Was not sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. The tri-tip was Delicious; it was tasty and moist all on it's own. the Coleslaw was excellent. I am very happy that we stopped and ate here

We had this truck in our neighborhood for an event and it was a great surprise. I got the BBQ tri-tip sandwich, obviously. It was excellent. They slice the meat up nice and thin, they must use a deli slicer, because I hand slice my tri-tips and it always comes up thicker than I want. I smoke meats regularly, and tri-tip is not really a tender cut, so thin slicing is really the way to go to make it easier to chew. The only complaint I have is the weak smokiness. They use pecan wood to smoke their meat, and anyone who smokes meat knows that pecan is a weak wood. It is great as a complimentary wood in combination with hickory or oak, but I rarely use it alone. I would recommend that this food truck use red oak to give the meat a more smokey taste. But that is my opinion, and many restaurants (Wood Ranch for example) use pecan wood to cater to Californian BBQ tastes.

Beat TRI TIP EVER!! I dont know how long it takes him to make this, but it tastes like BBQ, not lighter fluid, not "coal-e," it tastes like he's cooked it for hours *or days* & it cuts like butter with hardly any fat. Just enough on it to melt in your mouth! Be prepared, his chili is equally amazing and packs a semi punch. Have milk on hand. He was eating as we walked up and it looked amazing. The pictures posted are true to form! I dare you not to proclaim it the best in the west!!!!
