For years, I've seen people walking around with treats from this stand but never tried. I wish they offered mobile order/pay as I do not want to have to wait in a line, but love they have more options than the dole whip stand that does in fact offer dole whip. I really enjoyed the Chile-Mango Whip! For $8.49, I was impressed with the fresh fruit and size of the portion. Easily split this between 2-3 people and be satisfied! Lastly, I love all the decor and the ambiance of the seating once you order. Definitely a must try location even in it is just once!

Comfy, cozy little spot to sit back and relax while you enjoy your favorite Dole Whip creation. They also have Bao Buns with different fillings, snack items and drinks. It's located in Adventureland next to the Jungle Cruise, so while you're sitting there relaxing, give a wave to the folks returning from the jungle and welcome them back to civilization. The Tropical Hideaway is the place to be!

Shouldn't advertise a product they don't have. They do not have lumpia. Even though it is on the menu and there are photos of it at the premises. I arrived near opening time in the morning and they said they didn't have any for the whole day. Disappointed because that's what I went for. The watermelon ring kits are alright. The ratio of chamoy and tajin aren't equal though, not enough tajin.

Got the pineapple mango dole whip and it was a cool sweet treat after getting off the Jungle Cruise. Spot the animatronic parrot cracking jokes!

They literally swirl the ice cream in a circle so that there's a huge hole in the middle of your ice cream. It's so good but that sucks and they should change it.

Loved this place for some Dole Whip! Plus there was a special Chile Mango spicy option! Very popular, just not with any of my family! Shame really, meant all of it was mine! Bao buns were awesome too!

What a lovely place to grab some ice cream! The setting is nice and relaxing. I love the water fountain at the entrance of The Tropical Hideaway. It sets the scene for a laid back kind of vibe while you enjoy your dessert. The service is great here. Everyone is friendly and pleasant. The ice cream is delicious. The Tropical Hideaway is an appropriate name. Because for a short time period, you can forget about all of the chaos at Disneyland. And just enjoy your treat! Big fan!! :)

A little oasis hidden within Adventure Land on the Disneyland side. Great place to get your Dole Whip fix! & even some snacks if you're a bit hungry. Plenty of seating too!

One of my favorite places to hang out in the park and enjoy a Dole Whip. Very nice area right next to jungle cruise. And the Dole Whips are absolutely delicious. Yummy!

As much as I love the original pineapple dole whip, I wanted to try the mango and strawberry as well. I ordered a strawberry/pineapple swirl, while my boyfriend ordered a mango/strawberry swirl. While the mango and strawberry were good, they were nothing like the original pineapple for me. Service was fast, and it was even easier as this location does not require using the mobile app.

Date of most recent visit: January 6, 2024 Sometime, you just gotta have a Dole Whip at Disneyland despite the weather - and while the Tiki Bar near the Enchanted Tiki Room is iconic for it, the Tropical Hideaway next door also fits the bill. Originally the Tahitian Terrace way back when, then Aladdin's Oasis, this quick service stop serves various soft serve goodies, as well as interesting takes on bao and lumpia. On this stop, my fiancée had the Dole Whip Swirl Float with strawberry and mango ($7.29 pre-Magic Key discount) and I went with the Chile-Mango Whip ($8.49 also pre-discount); the latter is Disney's frozen take on the chamango, with pineapple and mango Dole Whip Swirl, chamoy, mango, and Taijin, oops, I mean, chile-lime seasoning. Both our treats were delicious, though we ended up walking to the Jolly Holiday to find a table... yes, seating here is at a bit of a premium, so good luck when trying to find a seat. The riverside views of the Jungle Cruise boats passing by are soothing, and don't forget to pay a visit to Rosita (the bird of paradise chilling on a crate and underneath an umbrella). With her bad jokes, I can see why she was banished from the Enchanted Tiki Room (and hence answers Jose's question of, "I wonder what happened to Rosita?"). Stop by the Tropical Hideaway if you have the chance... especially during the summer!
