We went to Tulum to celebrate my birthday. We were a party of 2 and arrived around noon on a Sunday. The restaurant was mostly empty when we got there but progressively got much busier during our visit. The decor is beautiful, bright and cheery.
I picked Tulum because they offer both vegetarian and traditional, meaty Mexican food. We were not disappointed at all with the menu! It was brunch so we had the option of getting more breakfast or lunch leaning items. I wish I had taken pictures because the food was absolutely stunning to look at and it tasted so incredible too!
The prices are about what you would expect for a nicer/slightly more upscale Mexican restaurant; not expensive, just not Taco Bell pricing. And the portions are great too. The chips and salsas that you get are well above average and delicious-the avocado salsa should be sold by the bottle.
The service was very friendly-our waiter was Leo and he was so sweet from the start. The hostess was an absolute angel and the second waiter, whose name I didn't get, also jumped in to help with our table but, I noticed they were all helping each other out as it was getting increasingly busy and people were sitting all around the restaurant. The teamwork was wonderful.
All in all, it was a great experience from start to finish and I'm so glad that we went in. I can't wait to go back-those potato taquitos are already calling my name.

This is the best Mexican restaurant you can try in Anaheim and the surrounding areas. The burrito is both delicious and huge, and even the entrance feels warm and inviting. The atmosphere looks upscale, but the prices are surprisingly affordable. The service is super attentive and fast.
Overall, don’t skip this place if you’re looking for a truly good restaurant to eat at.

Worst food I’ve had in OC to date. Everything was fishy and underseasoned. Would not call this a Mexican restaurant.
Is not authentic Mexican food is a combination American Mexican food
Very clean and trendy restaurant. All staff were very courteous and attentive. Food was delicious.

Best authentic Mexican food. I had the birria plate with a tamarindo margarita - it was so good all fresh ingredients. The spices on the beef very well made. Anyone who is traveling around Anaheim add the Tulum OC restaurant to your itinerary. I did not take a picture of the birria, I was starving.

The food was OK, was it worth the price... NO
But the service, the service sucked, I had to get up and get my own salt and pepper and it seemed like I was the only one there and my waiter disappeared for most of my lunch.
