I did a few solo days at Disneyland and DCA and decided to give this place a try for breakfast. It was a nice breakfast from the parks as it was a warmer morning. The sun was out and I really looked forward to sitting by the pool and having breakfast. But I will say I was a little disappointed in the service and the food. The atmosphere was amazing. The pool view was amazing. I had high hopes for the French toast but was very disappointed in it. They were not busy and service was difficult to get. Wasn’t what I expected for California Hotel restaurant at Disneyland. The fresh fruit that came with the French toast looked good but was really flavorless. I’d like to think I just caught them at a bad time, but I was pretty disappointed in the whole experience.

Not sure why it says closed. It most definitely is NOT-at least as of July 4th weekend. Get the wagyu burger, poke bowl or the nachos. Pizza looked amazing at the table next to us and the guests seemed happy. Wonderful serving sizes to share.

We were there Sunday evening. We sat outside. The weather was perfect, the food delicious and the service was great!
The live music was awesome and very entertaining! We along with several other tables, stayed until they finished playing! Yay! Hope they come back!

One of the better Disney restaurants. Portions are huge.

I ordered what I thought was an avocado salad with “bread”, tomatoes and arugula. What I got was an arugula salad with a few small dime size pieces of avocado, a few tomatoes and croutons that they called “bread”. Who calls croutons bread? That was misrepresented as anyone would naturally believe you’re getting bread. Anyway the salad was underwhelming which is disappointing for the money I spent. Needles to say, I won’t be returning. I’ll just enjoy the beautiful resort and skip dining there.

Horrible breakfast service, almost an hour to get a table with plenty of availability
Wrong orders, lack of acknowledgement from the staff to get more water, coffee or the delays
In the end an item didn't even arrive and it was wrongly added to the check

Forced to tip given we were a party of 6, not even a try to get us something back in form in discount or tip waived

Go somewhere else for breakfast

The food is priced cheaper inside than if you order by the pool.

I would want to give a five stars but we only had the Orange Vanilla Shake, which was SUPER tasty! The wafers in them are really good too and the atmosphere was really good too. I’m hoping to come back and something different!

Kids burger were charred and over cooked. Normal burger was not medium rare. It was extremely rare. Sale was extremely disappointing. Waitress got order wrong. Won’t be going back.

We only visited the bar. No food. Drinks were great. I had the Watermelon-Cucumber Collins which was refreshing and the Wayfinder which was a little tart from the grapefruit flavors. Both perfect. My husband had a craft beer on tap which he enjoyed. Atmosphere was great and sitting outside at a bar in October was a treat coming from the Northeast.

Enjoyed a relaxing lazy lunch at the Grand Californian Hotel Craftsman Grill after 3 solid days at the parks. The grounds are beautifully decorated with manicured landscape and poolside dining. We enjoyed our meal under the umbrellas which perfectly shaded us while allowing us to enjoy the sunshine. Our waiter was attentive, friendly and our food was good. I had a steak topped salad and my son had the massive pork nachos. Only thing we regretted was removing the jalapeños and cilantro. I would definitely go back again.

Pool side is always nice, especially in Southern California. We have dined many times here and it is ne of the best in the Disneyland Resort. I had the poke salad, a mix of salmon and tuna with a mix of lettuce and rice. Delicious. We shared the steak salad, which was not rna,y really good, but was just ok at this time. My partner had the charcuterie pizza. Continually amazing.

Five stars because they actually have coffee in the morning. One star for “experience” for the resort. This place opens at 6 AM. It’s in a really dark corner at the edge of the resort. Back by the furthest side of the pool. Also, The first place you can get coffee at the Disneyland resort hotel and spa. This “resort” sucks because of this…..
They offer a very loud Keurig coffee machine in the room. So if you want a cup of coffee at 5 AM while your family is sleeping the only place you can go is here, but they don’t open until 6 AM. So much for being a resort. Resorts actually are inclusive and offer you things , especially simple things like coffee whenever you want it.
