I came here for the first time with my Lebanese acquaintance. They said the establishment has some of the most authentic cuisine in the county. While I cannot speak on that, I can say that the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and took their time helping me decide what to order. I will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend this place to anyone.

The food was ok but definitely the cashier’s attitude was not. You’re not giving food for free, smile and welcome your customers as well as treating them with respect otherwise they will not come back again simple!?

Excellent cute Lebanese food. They have their oven, and everything is fresh out of the oven. Delicious food, one of the best little cozy place. They also have and sell pure olive oil from lebanon. We did buy the big bottle. Great for salads hummus etc. It's a bit far from my resident, but well worth the drive. We got the shawurma plate..simply delicious.
My only complaint, the music was extremely loud.

This place yells Lebanon all over it the second you walk in. From the decors, to the busy bakery action in front of your eyes. I loved the ambiance of this place. All the seasonings were on point that you would expect from Lebanese food. The Cheese Zaatar was so good and fresh. The salads, fries and beef was all delicious. Definitely recommend this place to anyone craving middle eastern food.

Zait and Zaatar in Anaheim, CA, is one of the best Lebanese restaurants in the OC. It's authentic cuisine, available at two locations: one in Anaheim and the other in Aliso Viejo. I visited the Anaheim location on a Sunday night, and the place was popping.
To be honest, I didn't know some of the words on the menu, so I'll provide a quick cheat sheet. 'Zait' is Arabic for olive oil, and 'Zaatar' is a spice and herb blend made out of dried thyme, sumac, and toasted sesame seeds. So 'Zait & Zaatar' is the classic way to eat the spices: first dip the bread into olive oil, and then into the herbs. 'Manoushe' is a Lebanese Pizza, and 'Arayes' are basically flatbread stuffed with minced meat.
I recommend it all, it was so good. My favorite has to be the Lebanese Arayes, which is a street-food favorite. So delicious! There's also plenty of free parking in the plaza, and the service was excellent. Support this local and small business; they deserve it!

Small, casual spot with a brick oven and real Lebanese soul. The shawarma is tender and seasoned right, the flatbreads come out warm and fragrant, and the classics are all here; hummus topped with shawarma, lehme bajeen, jibne bajeen, all done the proper way. Whether you’re grabbing a dinner plate or a quick sandwich, everything tastes fresh, honest, and made with care. Easy place to recommend.

Another spot that kept popping up on my feed was Zait & Zaatar in Anaheim, so we had to check it out—and wow, I’ve been missing out on Lebanese food. What really surprised me was the Lebanese hamburger: juicy, flavorful beef with perfectly crispy fries on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The pizza had a nice crispy bottom, the shrimp bowl was awesome, and the combo shawarma plate was the star of the meal—hands down the best of everything. Tammy and I really enjoyed our time here and I’m so glad we stopped by. This is definitely a place I’ll come back to whenever I’m visiting Southern California again.

Best Lebanese food-no question. Their zaatar, shawerma, lahm bi aaajin- are amazing. However- every time I have been there, they are short handed. They don't have a busboy-the tables are always unavailable because they have no one to clear them- Nice staff but unorganized. They need a better system in this place to be able to handle the volume. They are definitely going through growing pains because of the unexpected demand.

Zait & Zaatar is hands-down the best Lebanese spot in Anaheim! Stopped by for lunch and it was packed with a lively crowd, which made the experience even better. Every dish we tried was outstanding – fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and pure authenticity.
Standouts from our meal:
- Cheese & Zaatar Combo: Simple yet exploding with flavor.
- Shrimp Pizza: So creative and delicious, the shrimp was perfectly cooked.
- Combo Shawarma Plate: Juicy, well-seasoned shawarma with amazing garlic sauce and sides.
- Lebanese Araya (with kafta): Rich, hearty, and made with care.
Everything tasted homemade and high-quality. The staff was super welcoming, and the vibe is energetic and family-friendly. Worth every penny – this place is a gem! Will definitely be returning soon.
