Extremely disappointing and concerning experience. The falafel and tahini sauce both tasted very bad, which is unacceptable. My daughter became ill and vomited. This raises serious concerns about food safety and quality. Additionally, when I asked for a bag, the employee responded in a very disrespectful manner. We will not be returning.”

“Very disappointing experience. The falafel tasted sour, which was concerning. After eating dinner at this location, three members of my family became sick and threw up. It seems like something was not fresh or had gone bad. We will not be returning.”
Food is great. Atmosphere is not fancy, it's functional.
Service and staff are very good.

The chicken was so delicious, and it was Halal.
I loved it with the hummus and the Mediterranean salad.
I highly recommend it.

Walked by and walked in for the first but definitely not the last time. Great food that is filling and reasonably priced. The line to order started growing and an employee who was on her break ran over to open another register. That kind of service is seldom seen and is appreciated. In fact I went to a chain restaurant a couple days ago and I was told I would have to you their kiosk to order so I walked out. Touché to Zankou! Mmm chicken!

⭐⭐⭐⭐
Stopped by Zankou Chicken and had a really solid experience. We ordered the kabob plate and added one extra kabob for just $5, which felt like a great deal for the amount of food. The meat was flavorful, tender, and cooked just right. Portions were generous and definitely filling.
The limeade was super refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal — especially if you like something bright and citrusy to balance the savory flavors.
Overall, really good food and value. Would definitely come back!

I waited more than 35 minutes and my order was still not ready. The service was extremely poor and the staff attitude was very bad. Very disappointing experience.

The chicken was below average. Not cooked perfectly. Did not have any special taste. Below expectations. It needed few extra minutes in the oven. Not well done as it should be for a chicken restaurant

At this point we just drop in for the nostalgia. The place looks exactly like it did 20 years ago but you no longer have to wait in a long 30 minute line to order your food.
Chicken and wraps feel like they're not as filling as before and the flavors have dulled a little. Maybe it's the sting of high prices comparing from days gone past where 25 dollars could feed you for a day or two as a broke college student. These days a shawarma meal with a drink will run you close to that price. It's still a nice feeling to walk in to your memories. Sarkis next door hits the same way as well for more variety with your dessert.
