We had a great time visiting Summit Lake Vineyards! It is a beautiful property and so peaceful. Brian was a great host and the wines were spectacular! I highly recommend this winery for a more intimate and interactive tour and tasting than other vineyards provide. (Not that any of them were bad, this one just stood out.)
My husband and I came here to celebrate my birthday! This winery has everything (and more) that you would want when visiting the wine country. We were greeted by 4 adorable dogs and had a great parking spot in the shade. We brought our own picnic lunch which paired very well with the wines. Heather is an amazing host. She had our tasting experience set up on a beautiful white table cloth with fresh flowers and shade from their large oak tree. The wines we tasted were delicious....
It is an intimate experience at Summit. We brought along lunch to enjoy under the shade of a walnut tree while sitting with Heather as she shared her family story of the winery. It is a low-key environment with delicious wines to be tasted! I'm typically not a Zin fan but ended up ordering Zin to be shipped home.
