My husband and I came here to celebrate my birthday! This winery has everything (and more) that you would want when visiting the wine country. We were greeted by 4 adorable dogs and had a great parking spot in the shade. We brought our own picnic lunch which paired very well with the wines. Heather is an amazing host. She had our tasting experience set up on a beautiful white table cloth with fresh flowers and shade from their large oak tree. The wines we tasted were delicious....
It is an intimate experience at Summit. We brought along lunch to enjoy under the shade of a walnut tree while sitting with Heather as she shared her family story of the winery. It is a low-key environment with delicious wines to be tasted! I'm typically not a Zin fan but ended up ordering Zin to be shipped home.
Excellent tasting at a picnic table under a walnut tree at this family owned and run winery. We were greeted on our arrival by a couple of dogs who we were happy to see since we were missing ours. The wines were all delicious but we especially liked the Zinfandel and bought three bottles of it which was enough to have our tasting fee waived. The family run aspect goes all the way down to the grandchildren of the owner having wines named after them and labels inspired by them....
