The decor inside is really fun. I went in and ordered 4 tamales ala carte to go and 1 corona while i waited. It was approximately 34$ + tip. The tamales were pretty big but smothered in sauce. They were decent but unfortunately I won't be back. That's just way too much $ for what I ordered. I believe I was charged full entree price, even tho I specifically told the server I would be back for a lot more tamales if they were good. But not at approximately $ 7 each.
Chilled out place with some good decoration character! Food is generally better than the average Mexican restaurant. Server was friendly and had some good suggestions. Quality of the ingredients itself can be improved.
You get a lot of food for your money and it is good too. The salsas are excellent and so is the bean dip. The Chile relleno and chicken enchiladas are on point. The chicken tamale was a bit dry, but had good flavor.
