Thank you to Mike's pastry shop for a job well done on a custom cake order!! The staff worked with me over the phone to meet my ask of a peanut butter chocolate cake. We ended up with a fudge covered chocolate cake with a peanut butter frosting inside. The quality of the cake surpassed my expectations! Thinking it would be very rich it was a perfect balance of sweetness and the cake itself soft and fluffy. I would absolutely order again for any event or birthday.
Mike’s Pastry Shop is the best bakery in Antioch. The strawberry chiffon cake is legendary in our family, light and fluffy with just the right mix of strawberries and cream. It has been our go-to birthday cake for years and no celebration feels complete without it. The staff is always friendly, the service is great, and every treat we have tried has been delicious. Truly a local gem.

The cake was very dry, bland, and tasteless.
The cream, was very basic. Maybe we just didn't choose the right choice.
I expected something much better, we paid almost $50 dls. I couldn't even eat a whole slice. In fact, everyone who tried it only took one or two bites and then left it.
