Dining at Tailgaters wasn’t just bad—it was like being held hostage by a sadistic clown who makes you pay for the privilege. From the moment we sat down, our waitress greeted us with all the warmth of a cold metal bench in a bus station and the enthusiasm of someone counting the seconds until they can retire to their misery. Every request—whether for a drink, a napkin, or the barest acknowledgment of our existence—was met with an eye roll so over-the-top it could’ve been a viral video.

After what felt like an eternity in a nightmare, our food finally arrived—cold, stale, and as appetizing as chewing on an old shoe. But the real slap in the face? This tragic excuse for a human being went ahead and tipped herself 18%, as if enduring her barely-there service was some sort of rare, valuable experience.

If I could rate this place 0/5, I would, and I’d make sure to write it in permanent marker so no one else has to suffer through this disgrace of a dining experience. If you enjoy paying a premium to be treated like an inconvenience while eating food that could double as a punishment, then congratulations—you’ve found your paradise. For everyone else? Run. Save yourself from this soul-sucking nightmare disguised as a restaurant.

⭐☆☆☆☆ - I’d Have Had a Better Experience at a DMV

Dining at Tailgaters felt less like a night out and more like a punishment for crimes I didn’t commit. Our waitress greeted us with the warmth of a DMV employee on their last nerve and kept up that same dead-eyed enthusiasm all night. Every request—whether it was for a drink, a napkin, or basic human decency—was met with a sigh so deep it probably shook the foundation of the building.

After what felt like an eternity, our food finally arrived—cold, stale, and looking as lifeless as our waitress’s attitude. But the best part? She tipped herself a generous 18% for this unforgettable experience. No heads-up, no discussion—just a little surprise charge for enduring her presence.

I wouldn’t wish this level of service on my worst enemy. If you’re into overpriced disappointment served with a side of contempt, this is your spot. Otherwise, run.

Antioch location we had a appetizer sampler and 3 beers and 1 soda ams a mojito and it cost $92. Spent $112 plus tip for a sampler, mojito and 3 beers.....it's antioch not fisherman's warf!!!
