Five stars all the way! Emma, our server, was super friendly and effortlessly handled our big group (10) She let us combine tables, took all our orders and split the checks beforehand, brought out our salads and chili before the mains, and kept our drinks full. The steak was amazing, and the cornbread was to die for. Felt like VIPs! We even stayed for their famous milkshakes and believe it or not .. we were happy to pay the bill. Thank u Emma and Mel's staff!

We are sorry for coming in 45 minutes before closing but the staff called on us to come on in, sit down and enjoy a great meal. They did just that and not only did we have a good meal we had an amazing experience. Our waitress was amazing, funny, kind, and smart. She took 6 of our orders by memory and was so nice. The young man making the milkshake freezes was so nice and made great drinks. The burger was Hella good and the root beer freeze was on hit.
