I found out about this place on tiktok of all places. It wasn't even a video but a comment. I go to this plaza all the time for the Afghani kabob shop and didn't know there was a bakery here. VEGAN. BLACK OWNED. DELICIOUS. GOOD PRICES. Im so mad for driving so far trying to find a good bakery and didn't even notice the one next to me. The cookies were moist and they ALL tasted good. Im so picky and shocked. My only complaint is they need better signage and advertising....

Bean pie, carrot pie, cinnamon roll, granola, carrot/ginger/turmeric juice & fish sandwich are all hits! It took my taste buds back 30+ years to North Oakland. I will be back for more of the above as well as trying more on their menu. Paris & *Farod (*I hope I spelled this right) were so personable & I look forward to next time. The above was consumed within 12hrs for dinner, dessert & then breakfast!

I did not appreciate that the staff decided to to serve me last when my party was the very first to arrive to place my order. 5 people slowly followed after me (YES, FIVE) having first arrived in an empty store, and they all were served and eating before they finally decided to start making my food. That's one way to ensure my first visit is the last.
The food tastes good, albeit be small for the price, and I'm glad there's a vegan business in Brentwood....
